Yes, the Elvira Chia Pet is real according to their official website and will be available this fall/winter. I have read on Facebook that it won't be released until November so it would make a great gift for your Halloween friends or you can put it on your Christmas list this year. It would be cool if they could make black sprouts instead of green.
