First Official Suicide Squad Look from Comic Con

Here's the first official look of the Suicide Squad movie from Comic Con with some interesting scenes featuring Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn, the Joker, El Diablo, Rick Flagg, Captain Boomerang and Killer Croc (yes, even Batman makes an appearance):

Here's the cast from Suicide Squad movie minus the Joker from 'Suicide Squad' suits up for the first costumed cast photo:

From left to right, the lineup shows Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara down in front as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.

The only ones I'm really interested at this moment are Enchantress and Katana. I'm sort of interested in Harley Quinn but I'm not digging this version of her so far.

Convergence: Batman and the Outsiders #1

Convergence: Batman and the Outsiders #1 (June 2015) is one of my favorites of the week three Convergence titles. The group are under the dome in the pre-Crisis Earth One Gotham City. Batman is still fighting crime since he didn't have any powers to lose.

Black Lightning is still wearing his costume and is still helping even without his powers:

Katana is keeping a vigil over the comatose Halo:

Geo-Force is helping out too but he is filled with rage over the loss of his earth-based powers:

Rex Mason aka Metamorpho is now back to his normal human self and enjoying time with his girlfriend, Sapphire Stagg, who he can actually touch now:

I love this issue because it doesn't dwell on Batman but spends some pages on the Outsiders. Unfortunately, the fun is over when the dome is lifted and they regain their powers. The worst part is that Rex is in the shower with Sapphire when he starts changing back to Metamorpho. Halo wakes up from her coma and explodes with Katana still in the hospital room. Hopefully, they will be enough to face OMAC and his mutant army from the future New York City of Kamandi.

Women Wednesday: The Women of Legend Promo Card

Non-Sport Update Volume 24, Number 4 ships this week along with an exclusive The Women of Legend promo card from Cryptozoic. Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Catwoman and Katana are in the foreground but one can see other women from DC Comics in the background.

Women Wednesday: Katana Will Be Busy In 2013

Katana will be busy in 2013 for she will be part of the new rebooted Justice League of America #1, her own solo series and will appear in the upcoming Beware The Batman animated series.
