T-shirt Thursday: White Marvel Characters T-shirt

I picked up this white Marvel Characters t-shirt at the local Walmart's last week for almost nine dollars. The artwork is not the best but it does have that hand-drawn feel. The Marvel characters include Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hawkeye, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Moon Knight (yeah, he's a little hard to see at first), Black Widow, Black Panther (I think it's him), She-Hulk, Daredevil, Silver Surfer, Thor, Doctor Strange, Human Torch, Wasp, Ant-Man, Thing, Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Cyclops (another one that's hard to make out) and Iron Fist. The pictures shows it draped over my office chair so you can only see the bottom of the Marvel logo.

T-shirt Tuesday: Periodic Table of Marvel

Wow, I haven't bought a t-shirt since the Black Panther Starry T-shirt back in 2021. I found this Periodic Table of Marvel t-shirt earlier today while I was shopping for a thermal shirt at the local Walmart's. The price was a whopping $8.98 and the fabric is a little on the thin side. It's black with faces of superheroes and supervillains from Marvel Comics. The superheroes include Spider-Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Black Panther, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Thor, Vision, Doctor Strange, She-Hulk, Nova, Black Bolt, Clea, Ant Man, Wasp, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist, Falcon, Lockjaw, Rocket Raccoon, Spider-Woman and Ghost Rider. The supervillains include Venom, Green Goblin, Thanos, Liki, Red Skull, Hel, Baron Zemo, Dormammu, MODOCK and Ultron.

Throwback Thursday: Spider-Man 1978 Parachute Figure

I picked up a small selfie light ring at the local Dollar Tree a few days ago. It's supposed to clip on a cell phone but I decided to test it out with my Olympus FE-170 digital camera (I really need to get a newer one someday). I couldn't clip the light ring on the camera but I was still able to use it. I decided to take some pictures of my old Spider-Man parachute figure from 1978. I have lost the actual parachute way back when and a lot of the paint has rubbed off. The pictures were brighter and wasn't as yellow as they usually are thanks to the bare lightbulb in my ceiling light. I still had to use GIMP to edit the contrast and brightness levels otherwise the red and blue would be dull. I need to get a different photo editor someday too because GIMP exports instead of save jpgs, which is rather annoying.

Marvel Super Hero Adventures Sticker #12: Floating Avengers

The final Marvel Super Hero Adventures sticker that I got in the now gone vending machine is what I call the floating Avengers. This is also the twelfth and final sticker in the set based on the Disney cartoon series. Characters include Thor, Hulk, Falcon, Black Widow, Captain America, Iron Man and Spider-Man. I actually have two of these stickers and you can complete the top and bottom floating pictures of Thor and Hulk. It's kind of funny that the top of Hulk's head is on the bottom of the sticker while the rest of him is on top.

Marvel Super Hero Adventures Sticker #4: Spider-Man THWIP!

I managed to get a few more Marvel Super Hero Adventures stickers last month before the vending machine disappeared. I posted a few of them back in September and I have yet to complete the set. I'm not for sure if the vending machine will be back or not but I doubt it since they were having problems with two of them jamming (the mystery sticker coin slot was the worse one and it had been down for almost a year). The first of the new batch is Marvel Super Hero Adventures Sticker #4: Spider-Man THWIP!

Marvel Super Hero Adventures Sticker #9: Group Shot

This Marvel Super Hero Adventures Sticker #9 doesn't officially have a name so I call it group shot. The group consists of the Hulk, Black Widow, Falcon, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and Spider-Man. Now I really wished I watched more episodes of this cartoon when it was on the Disney Channel. This is the last sticker of this series that I got out a vending machine but I hope to get some more soon providing that they are still available.

Spider-Man Mini Bust Paper Weight

This Spider-Man Mini Bust Paper Weight is the last one that I picked up at the local Dollar Tree. He is about three inches tall and the paint job is pretty simple since he's mostly red.

T-shirt Tuesday: New Marvel T-shirt For 2021

I actually picked up this Marvel t-shirt back in January for three dollars at the local Walmart's. Since it was such a great price, I got two of them. Superheroes from Marvel Comics that appear on the t-shirt include Daredevil, She-Hulk, Falcon, Thor, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Wasp, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man and Black Widow.

Marvel Ultimate Spider-Man Jumbo Coloring and Activity Book 2017

I picked up this Marvel Ultimate Spider-Man Jumbo Coloring and Activity Book from 2017 at the local Dollar Tree three days ago. Other superheroes include Nick Fury, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Nova and White Tiger. Villains include Wolf Spider, Hobgoblin, Venom, Rhino, Shocker and Dracula. There are also some alternate versions of Spider-Man like the Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Woman.

Marvel Revels New Spider-Man Costume

According to New Spider-Man costume revealed by Marvel, Dustin Weaver was the designer. The base colors are now blue and white instead of the traditional blue and red. He will have grey and orange highlights while his mask will have orange goggles. Peter Parker is still the man in the suit, which will first appear in The Amazing Spider-Man #61 that will hit the stands in March 2021. The following images are variant covers of #62 and #63 featuring Spider-Man's new costume.

Marvel Jumbo Coloring & Activity Book: New Allies

This Marvel Jumbo Coloring & Activity Book: New Allies was picked up at the local Dollar Tree. This was produced by Bendon in 2019 with ninety-six tear and share pages. The front and back covers feature Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor and Spider-Man. I did a search and Amazon has it listed as part of the Marvel Heroes Jumbo Coloring & Activity Book Set (the other one is titled "Unleashed", which I do not have nor did I see it at the local Dollar Tree).

The back cover features the same image as the front cover.

Most of the coloring pages features individual characters but there are some group pages like the one with Captain America, Hawkeye, Thor, Falcon, Iron Man, Hulk and Black Widow. Other Avengers such as Ant Man, Black Panther and War Machine have their own coloring pages too. Coloring pages with super villains such as Red Skull, Loki and Ultron also pop up.

The activity pages include drawing with the grid, connect the dots, maze, image search, finish the drawing, anagrams, shadow matching, word search and others.

Note: The last third of Marvel Jumbo Coloring & Activity Book: New Allies is devoted to Spider-Man and his enemies.

Countdown to Valentine's Day 2020 Day 4: Marvel Spider-Man 32 Valentines

This box of Marvel Spider-Man 32 Valentines was also picked up at the local Dollar General last week for a dollar. The contents include four strips of eight cards and a sheet of red heart-shaped stickers. The front of the box shows Spider-Man getting ready to shoot his webbing at you:

The back of the box shows all eight card fronts plus a sampling of the backs:

Peter Parker in the usual blue and red wallcrawler costume is featured on the first two and fourth cards while Miles Morales in the dark colored Ultimate Spider-Man costume is featured on the third card:

The back of the cards are pretty simple with the Spider-Man logo and two round faded face symbols:

Gwen Stacy as Spider-Gwen is featured on the fifth card while Peter Park as Spider-Man is on the sixth and seventh cards. Spider-Gwen, Parker's Spider-Man and Morales's Ultimate Spider-Man is all featured on the extra-wide eighth card:

Peter Parker as Spider-Man appears on the back of the extra-wide card in two different poses:

I like this set and was surprised by the guest appearance of Spider-Gwen and the Miles Morales. I was glad that no villains appeared in this set even though I wouldn't mind seeing Black Cat pop up.

Countdown to Valentine's Day 2020 Day 1: Avengers Infinity War Valentines With Thumb Tattoos

I picked this box of Marvel Avengers Infinity War 32 Valentines with 32 Thumb Tattoos last week at the local Dollar Tree. You can declare a thumb war with your friends. This is a pretty tall box at 10-1/2" considering that the sheet of thumb tattoos is the longest item at 8".

Each thumb tattoo is 1" x 1-1/2" and includes such Marvel superheroes as Vision, Hulk, Iron Man, Groot, Black Panther, Black Widow, Doctor Strange and Spder-Man

Eight Valentine cards are all connected on a strip and there are four strips. The first four includes Black Widow, Iron Man, Black Panther and Steve Rogers not in his Captain America costume.

The backs of the first four Valentine cards:

The last four includes Vision, Thor, Spider-Man and Thanos, who gets an extra wide one since he's so big.

The back of the extra wide Thanos Valentine card not only includes him but also includes the movie version of Doctor Strange in a circle and the comic version of Scarlet Witch.

There is also a sheet of 32 red heart stickers that I didn't scan. Overall, the artwork on the Valentine cards and thumb tattoos are not bad.

Countdown to Halloween 2015 Day 3: Ultimate Spider-Man Villains Candy Sticks Part 3

Today's post takes a look at the side panels of the Ultimate Spider-Man Villains Candy Sticks boxes. There are actually four different side panels. The most colorful ones include a horizontal version with a full figure of Spidey in action and a vertical version with three small pics of him. None of them show any of the villains.
