The Mighty Avengers #2 (2007)

The Mighty Avengers #2 (2007) from Marvel Comics is the seventh comic book that was in the Ollie's grab bag. The story features Wonder Man, Ms. Marvel, Sentry, Black Widow, Ares and Wasp battling a nude woman that stepped out of the recently killed Iron Man. She turns out to be Ultron that has taken on the form of Janet Van Dyne aka the Wasp. Yes, it's a pretty weird issue, which is probably why this is the first issue of the series that I have ever read.

Women Wednesday: Wonder Woman Vs. Wonder Man

The cover of Wonder Woman #777 features Wonder Woman fighting Wonder Man. No, this is not the Marvel guy that used to wear red sunglasses and a matching jacket but rather Dane of Elysium. Yes, Wonder Woman and Siegfried find themselves on Earth-11, where the genders of the superheroes are reversed. Aquawoman, Superwoman and Batwoman also appear in this issue as does Marsha Manhunter, Star Sapphire and a female Flash (the last one only appears in one panel). Deadman from Earth-0 also shows up to warn that Janus is also on Earth-11.
