Man of Steel Comic Con Poster

The following Man of Steel poster from Comic Con hit the Internet on Saturday, July 14, 2012 so I am a few days late posting it here:

I like it for the most part but the texture of the costume does give it a look of armor.

Women Wednesday: Adrianne Curry As Aeon Flux

Adrianne Curry dressed up as Aeon Flux for this year's Comic-Con. Unfortunately, she was kicked out due to the fact that her costume barely covers her bottom according to The Superficial (there are a lot more photos at the link).

I would be more worried about people coming up to the woman on Adrianne Curry's left and kicking her ass. I also hope that Alice never bent over while wearing that outfit.

Adrianne Curry did get her fanny covered with a red t-shirt while being kicked out of Comic-Con. A black t-shirt would have drawn less attention and would have looked better.

Women Wednesday: Wonder Girl And Wonder Woman At Comic Con 2010

The following image of Wonder Girl and Wonder Woman was found at The Comic-Con 2010 Cosplay Gallery: 850 Amazing Costumes:
Wonder Girl and Wonder Woman at Comic Con 2010
Yes, this pair of costumes were inspired by the tv series, Wonder Woman. Debra Winger first played Drusilla aka Wonder Girl in the two part story titled "The Feminum Mystique". Of course, we all know that Lynda Carter played Wonder Woman on the show. Kudos to these women for such cool costumes.

Heroes #3 Comic Con Promo

Heroes #3 was exclusive to San Diego Comic Con 2008 and has a cover by Michael Turner featuring Echo (right), Mohinder Suresh (middle) and Takezo Kensei (left). The cover characters are featured in three stories. "Blackout" is a two-part story that has Suresh finding a man that absorbs electricty in a hospital. My favorite story of the comic book by far is "The Ten Brides of Takezo Kensei" that has the character reflecting on all of his wives while he's buried in the coffin that Hiro teleported him into. The ending has a nice twist that I will not give away. Finally, "Going Postal" is about Echo De Mille, the main character of the new Heroes webisode series. I find his nemesis to be more interesting than he was but the story was still pretty good.
