McFarlane Toys Super Powers Batman Who Laughs

The third and final action figure that I picked up last Tuesday was this McFarlane Toys Super Powers Batman Who Laughs. He was also only six dollars so in a way I got a buy two get one free deal. Unfortunately, there is a big crease down the side of the card as if somebody bent it back. This was new for 2022 and has to be one of the oddest action figure in my collection.

McFarlane Toys Super Powers Deathstroke

I also picked up this McFarlane Toys Super Powers Deathstroke action figure last Tuesday at the local Walmart's for six dollars. He comes with a sword and the back of the card has a copyright year of 2023. I will probably keep him in the package too and hang him up on my wall next to Nightwing.

McFarlane Toys Super Powers Green Lantern John Stewart

I broke down and picked up the McFarlane Toys Super Powers Green Lantern John Stewart action figure from 2022 this past Tuesday. The local Walmart's had him on clearance for six dollars. I still have my Kenner Super Powers Green Lantern Hal Jordan but he's loose and has no power battery. I might keep John Stewart in the package.

Women Wednesday: McFarlane Toys Super Powers Wonder Woman 2023

I picked up this McFarlane Toys Super Powers Wonder Woman 2023 action figure yesterday at the local Walmart's as part of my birthday present to myself. I'm hoping they get figures of other women from DC Comics like Black Canary and Catwoman.

By the way, Happy Valentine's Day!

McFarlane Toys Super Powers Nightwing 2023

To celebrate my 59th birthday, which is today, I bought this McFarlane Toys Super Powers Nightwing from 2023 this morning at our local Walmart's. They don't get very many DC Comics related action figures so this is a rare treat.

Marvel Tales #230, 231 and 232

Todd McFarlane did cover art for these three issues. Marvel Tales #230 (Mid November 1989) contains the story titled "Bewitched, Bothered and Be-Dazzled" written by Marv Wolfman. Spider-Man teams up with Dazzler against Lightmaster. Spider-Ham is featured in a backup story titled "Cult of Dolts" written by Danny Fingeroth.

Marvel Tales #231 (December 1989) features "Something This Way Wicked Kills!" written by David Michelinie. Spider-Man teams up with Paladin against Thermo, a scientist gone mad after a lab accident (this seems to happen a lot in the Marvel Universe).

Spider-Man teams up with Dazzler and Paladin in Marvel Tales #232 (Mid December 1989) in a story titled "Critical Mass" written by Dave Kraft. The trio fights Thermo, who takes over the leadership of a cult.

Who's Who Update '87 #4

Todd McFarlane did the wraparound cover for Who's Who Update '87 #4 (November 1987). This issue features characters from Lois Lane to Rampage. The Minutemen from Watchmen is included as is the revised version of Power Girl as the granddaughter of Arion from Atlantis. I have ten issues of the original series, four issues of the '87 update and three issues of the '88 update. I even have both issues of the Who's Who in Star Trek. News of a new Who's Who twelve issue series is coming out this year to celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary of DC Comics. One is needed especially after the events of 52 and Infinity Crisis. I would also like to see a separate version done just for the Elseworlds characters.
