Marvel Avengers Jumbo Coloring & Activity Book 2017

I picked up this Marvel Avengers Jumbo Coloring & Activity Book from 2017 yesterday at the local Dollar Tree. Yes, the copyright on all the interior pages have 2016. The front and back covers both feature the same Captain America picture. The Avengers that have their individual coloring pages include Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Hulk, Nick Fury, Thor, Falcon and Hawkeye. Villains include the Red Skull, Abomination, Hydra Agent, M.O.D.O.K., Loki, Attuma, Whiplash and Super-Adaptoid. The last eighteen pages are actually tied together in a story focusing on Falcon's first day as an Avenger. There are some sideway pages but very few pages of the Avengers together. Activity pages include which line, draw, match, maze, unscramble and spot.

Thor Big Fun Book To Color: Ages of Thunder

It's Thor Thursday and I have something special to share today. I picked up a copy of Thor Big Fun Book To Color: Ages of Thunder last week at the local Dollar Tree. The coloring/activity book was produced by Bendon in 2013 and has ninety-six off white pages. The first fifty pages or so features "Ages of Thunder" story about Loki taking over the throne of Asgard while Odin is gone. Thor gets a little help from his friend, Balder, to battle the fire and storm giants. Odin returns and discovers Loki's trickery before exiling him and the giants. Thor then goes in search of the Warriors Three and ends up battling Fafnir. Skurge and the Enchantress shows up to battle Thor before releasing Loki. Of course, he wins in the end.

Games and activities in Thor Big Fun Book To Color: Ages of Thunder include find the differences, solve the codes, hidden images, connect the dots, mazes and more.
For a dollar, Thor Big Fun Book To Color: Ages of Thunder is not a bad buy. I like the fact that it separates the story pages from the activity pages. There are plenty of action scenes with a few full figure pages. I would choose colored pencils instead of crayons because of the small spaces to color.

Stickers For Leap Day

I've been saving my quarters since Christmas for the local vending machines with stickers and temporary tattoos. Since today is leap day, I decided to try my luck at the only store in town that has them. Unfortunately, the machines with the Pocket Patches and the temporary tattoos were both jammed. Luckily, the Mystery Machine was still working and it was only a quarter while the others were fifty cents. I ended up with 13 stickers including four Marvel Avengers (#1 is Captain America, #6 is Avengers Assemble, #7 is Loki and #11 is Ant-Man that are my first ones of this set), the first Need4Speed sticker (I have others in the series), two Pocket Patches fabric tattoos (#3 and 6), Pet Shop Sticker #9 (Mousestache), Trolls #5 and the first four UglyDolls stickers.

Dr Pepper Does The Avengers Cans

Yep, Dr. Pepper is putting The Avengers on their cans to promote the movie. You will find Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Loki, Hawkeye, Captain America, Black Widow and Nick Fury.

I think I will pass on this promo since I don't have the space to display them.

Cherry Dr Pepper Loki Can

I picked up a case of Cherry Dr Pepper this morning at the local Super Wally-World and all the cans have Loki on them. The store was completely out of the regular and diet Dr Pepper. They only had two cases each of Cherry and Diet Cherry. The blurb on the can reads "Loki, the trickster. A master of manipulation, his ambition is to be feared!"
