Women Wednesday: Harley Quinn x Elvira #6

DC Comics and Harley Quinn released Harley Quinn x Elvira #6 on March 18. It is the conclusion of the season and seems fitting to end the month of April spotlighting it for this week's Women Wednesday post. Cover artists include Amanda Conner (Cover A), Chad Hardin (Cover B), Joseph Michael Linsner (Cover C) and Ben Caldwell (Cover D). There are also fifteen other variant covers, which I'm not showing. DC Comics and Dynamite Entertainment releases Harley Quinn X Elvira #5 today. Here is the official summary:

Women Wednesday: Harley Quinn X Elvira #4 Covers

Harley Quinn X Elvira #4 comes out today from DC Comics and Dynamite. Once again, the main cover artists are Amanda Conner, Chad Hardin, Joseph Michael Linsner and Ben Caldwell. The interior art was done by Amanda Conner and Juan Samu. The story was written by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti. Here is the official summary:

"OUT OF THE FRYING PAN AND INTO THE FIRE! With things getting too hot to handle back in Brooklyn, Elvira and Harley abscond to the cooler climes of Transylvania to crash with one of Elvira’s best buddies in his tastefully appointed castle. Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 24: Harley Quinn X Elvira #3 Covers

Harley Quinn X Elvira #3 came out last week from DC Comics and Dynamite. While the issue has nothing to do with Christmas, I'm using it for this week's Women Wednesday post. Of course, there are several covers with most of them featuring Elvira, Harley Quinn and Powergirl. Cover A was done by Amanda Conner, cover B by Chad Harden and cover C by Joseph Michael Linsner. Here is official summary:

Women Wednesday: Red Sonja #1 Covers

Red Sonja #1 starts a new series this July for the redheaded warrior at Dynamite and will sport six alternate covers all done by the following women artists: Nicola Scott, Amanda Conner, Fiona Staples, Jenny Frison, Colleen Doran and Stephanie Buscema.
Red Sonja #1 is written by Gail Simone with interior art by Walter Geovani.

Women Wednesday: Phantom Lady

Amanda Conner did the cover for Phantom Lady #1, which will be released on August 29, 2012 by DC Comics. The female Freedom Fighter gets her own four issue mini series with Doll Man being her crime-fighting partner.

Women Wednesday: Silk Spectre

Silk Spectre is getting her own four-part mini-series from DC Comics as part of Before Watchmen prequel event according to Blastr's DC releases details (+ 8 pics) of controversial Watchmen prequel. The writer will be Darwyn Cooke with Amanda Conner doing the artwork.
