Superman Batman Candy Sticks
Happy Easter. I picked up a bag of Superman Batman Candy Sticks that I found in the Easter section at the local Dollar Tree. I was supposed to get 25 boxes but got 26 boxes. Each box had two candy sticks and some of the images were used with the DC Trinity Candysticks that I picked up last year for Halloween at the local Dollar General. They were made in Colombia and distributed by World Confections.
Here is the front of the Superman Batman Candy Sticks bag:
Here is the back of the Superman Batman Candy Sticks bag:
My bag had 14 Superman boxes (4 green, 8 red and yellow, 2 red). All of them feature his upper torso with two sides featuring extreme close up shots of his face:
There were only 12 Batman boxes in my bag (3 blue, 2 red and orange, 7 yellow). None of the images featured extreme close up shots of his face.
I am a little disappointed that none of the boxes had both DC superheroes on them. I guess they didn't want me to call them World's Finest Candy Sticks.

Thor Plushie With Avengers Milk Chocolate Easter Egg and Bar Set
I couldn't find a Captain Carrot or Hoppy the Marvel Bunny t-shirt for this week's T-shirt Thursday post so I went with a Thor toy theme instead. This Easter set consists of a ten inch Thor plushie along with an Avengers milk chocolate Easter egg and bar set. The God of Thunder is on the egg box along with Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk.

Justice League Valentine Candy Card Kit
Yes, I know today is Easter but I have not picked up any of this holiday offerings featuring any DC Comics of Marvel Comics characters. In fact, the only thing I found at one of the local stores was a Spider-Man plastic egg with stickers inside. Instead of an Easter treat, I'm posting the Justice League Valentine Candy Card Kit that I picked up a few weeks ago. Originally priced at $2.99, I picked it up for $0.89.
Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and Flash are featured on the front of the box. There are several text on the front and the flaps that claims that thirty-one cards, fruit flavored lollipops and a teacher card are included. The candy is claimed to be nut and gluten free.
The back shows that the kit has six different cards that includes Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Superman, Justice League coming at you and a Justice League teacher card. Poor Flash does not get his own card and Wonder Woman does not appear on any of the Justice League cards. Each pop has 25 calories by the way.
There is a big sheet of the Valentine cards with five different cards that include Justice League coming at you aka Valentine You Save the Day, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Batman. Notice that Superman is in his classic costume with the red shorts. The back of the cards are blank.
Does Batman looks shocked with his mouth hanging open like that?
This is the loose Justice League card that is supposed to be the teacher card. Notice that it features Superman, Flash, Green Lantern and Batman coming at you instead of what is shown on the back of the box. It is clearly not a teacher card, which is a big disappointment. That means that there are only five different cards instead of six.
The fruit flavored lollipop taste more like cherry to me. The wrapper has the symbols from Batman, Green Lantern, Superman and Flash. Wonder Woman strikes out again and has no symbol featured (I guess the stylized WW would have been too much trouble to include).
I snapped a picture of the unopened bag of fruit flavored lollipops that came with the Justice League Valentine Candy Card Kit (the other pictures are scans). While you actually have thirty-one cards, you only get thirty lollipops. I actually have twenty-seven now because I ate three while writing this post.

Easter Collection 2013 At Superhero City
I have cut back on playing a lot of online games at Facebook but I still play Superhero City on a regular basis. The online game is celebrating Zombie Jesus Day this year by offering three trading cards as part of their Easter Collection. They are also offering an egg but you need all three of the cards to play the missions, which I have not done yet.

The first card in the set is Parade of Sweets '13, which looks like crazy Peeps seeking revenge for those that have been eaten during the Easter celebration:

Next up is the Choco Decoy '13, which makes me wonder if it is solid or hollow chocolate and if it can be animated like a golem:

Finally, Cottontail Hop '13 features a well rounded superheroine that is just too wild for words:
