Countdown to Halloween 2024 Day 6: Dr. Squatch's Fearsome Fall 3-Pack

It's Squatchoween Collection time with the Dr. Squatch's Fearsome Fall 3-Pack that includes Drunk'n Pumpkin (scarecrow with pumpkin head), Headless Rinse (headless horseman) and Count Sudsala (vampire). I would love to see these stocked all year long at the local Walmart's but I'm pretty sure they are only available online for the Halloween season. You can also purchase them individually if you don't want the bundle. A Drunk'n Pumpkin deodorant is also available.

DC Comics Ooshies Scarecrow Pencil Topper

This DC Comics Ooshies Scarecrow pencil topper is my thirteenth and final one for now. I like him and wish I had a few more so I could also display him with my Halloween and horror collectibles. There are eighteen pencil toppers in this set and I might get more next week if the local Walmart's still have them.

DC Super Friends Notebooks

My sister actually picked up three DC Super Friends Notebooks at the local Dillons a few weeks ago because they were on sale. The one featuring Batman and his rogue gallery was sixteen cents while the other two were twelve cents each. Now that is what I call one hell of a price reduction.

Batman Unlimited: Mechs Vs Mutants DVD

Batman Unlimited: Mechs Vs Mutants is the 2015 sequel to Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts, which I have not seen. I found the dvd a few weeks ago at the local Dollar Tree. Batman is voice by Roger Craig Smith while the Joker is voiced by Troy Baker. Other superheroes that appear include Green Arrow, Nightwing, Red Robin and Cyborg while Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Clayface, Scarecrow, Silver Banshee and Solomon Grunddy are other supervillains that appear. This is more kid friendly than the last few animated movies based on characters from DC Comics that I have watched lately. The special feature is the Batman: The Brave & The Bold episode titled "Night of the Batmen".

Countdown to Halloween 2019 Day 18: Grimm Tales of Terror 2019 Halloween Special

Join Keres, the goddess of death, as she presents three terror-filled stories in Grimm Tales of Terror 2019 Halloween Special from Zenescope Entertainment. There is a total of five covers and this is cover A, which features a busty grim reaper sitting on a scarecrow's arm. The other covers include a giant scorpion, a busty Red Riding Hood, a redheaded succubus and a gothic cheerleader. The stories and art are both great. You might still find it on the shelf of your local comic book shop.

Countdown to Halloween 2017 Day 16: Scarecrow vs Scarecrow Trading Card

This Scarecrow vs Scarecrow trading card is #98 from the DC vs Marvel/Marvel vs DC set:

I have several issues with DC's Scarecrow and only a few with the one from Marvel. I like both super villains.

Countdown to Halloween 2015 Day 23: Halloween Stickers

I released these six Halloween stickers from my old warped sticker book and put them on homemade trading cards. These actually came from those little sticker booklets from the 1980s. They are not in great condition but at least I still have them.

The first card features a witch flying on her broom with a big orange moon watching her, a cute black cat wearing a witch's hat leaning on a jack-o-lantern and a black cat ready to scratch you:
The second card features a jack-o-lantern, a very friendly looking scarecrow and a ghost that looks a little like Casper:

Countdown to Halloween 2014 Day 13: Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Special Edition #1

This is the Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Special Edition #1 that was printed for ComicFest 2014. It's a odd little story with Jonathan Crane aka the Scarecrow planting explosives at power stations.

This is one wicked looking Scarecrow:

Unfortunately, the story is more of a prelude to Batman: Haunted Knight.
