Women Wednesday: The Lido from Missle to the Moon

K.T. Stevens played the Lido in the 1958 science fiction movie, Missle to the Moon. I'm currently watching it on The Monster Channel. She may be best remembered for her role as Vanessa Prentiss on the tv soap opera, The Young and the Restless. K.T. Stevens also appeared as Lieutenant Harriet Twain in the episode titled "Return of the 69th" on the Buck Rogers in the 25th Century 1979 science fiction tv series.

Goodnight Felix Silla

Sad news for Felix Silla, the actor and stuntman who played Cousin Itt, dies at 84. In addition to his role on The Addams Family tv series, he also played the robot Twiki/Odee-x on Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, an Ewok in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Dink in Spaceballs.

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century #16

The cover of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (May 1982) from Whitman, an imprint of Western Publishing Company, has our hero being sold to the highest bidder in the slaver's market. B. S. Watson wrote "The Seller of Souls" while Mike Roy inked and penciled. He befriends a few of the alien slaves including a small furball named Jamel from the planet Erion. Of course, he manages a breakout and defeats the alien slavers.
