Long Live The Legion Now At DC Universe Online

I got a new email from DC Universe Online today. They have a new episode titled Long Live the Legion. Here is their description of it:

"AVAILABLE NOW! Travel to the 31st century and join forces with the Legion of Super-Heroes in the new event and episode, Long Live the Legion. Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, and Cosmic Boy's lives are in danger as they confront one of the most powerful sorceress in the universe, Mordru. Sure wish I could download the game and play. The above picture shows Supergirl, Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad and Static fighting Validus of the Fatal Five.

Thrift Store Find: McDonald's Lightning Lad

Put me down on the list of not getting any of the Legion of Super Heroes toys when they originally came with McDonald's Happy Meals a few years ago. The action figures were based on the cartoon show. I found a Lightning Lad figure still in the original box this morning at a local thrift store for twenty-five cents. A trading card still in the plastic came with it. The figure itself does not stand on its own but I do like the box and card.
