Marvel's Avengers and Harley-Davidson Motorcyle Sweepstakes and Sticker

Harley-Davidson is running a Uleash Your Freedom sweeps to celebrate Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron movie that is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2015. You can enter to win an Avengers-inspired motorcycle, a riding academy course, and a riding experience with a Marvel stunt rider. You will also receive a sticker just for entering.

Countdown to Halloween 2014 Day 12: Spooktacular Sweeps at PCH

Publishers Clearing House (PCH) had a Spooktacular Sweeps and I thought I would share the two screen shots. The first one has a jack o' lantern wearing a witch's pointy hat (I would love to win that $10,000):

Countdown to Halloween 2013 Day 11: Fanta Halloween Instant Win Game

While I was adding a few codes earlier at My Coke Rewards, I earned a free entry to the Fanta Halloween Instant Wind Game. Each entry is normally three Coke points. I snagged some screenshots so I could share them here. The first screen features a kid wearing a vampire cape and fangs hanging upside down from a haunted tree while drinking Fanta:

The second screen features a girl dressed up as a witch along with a black cat and a party going on at a haunted house:

I also found out that I could trade in Coke points for cool Fanta Halloween collectibles including party plates, glow in the dark can cooler, pizza cutter, inflatable pumpkin cooler and party bowls:

The actual game itself a bit of a disappointment mostly because I didn't win:

Countdown to Halloween 2013 Day 5: Elvira Look-A-Like Contest

Tonight at Knott's Scary Farm is the Elvira Look-alike Contest.

To celebrate the return of the Mistress of the Dark to Knott's in 2013, they are inviting all aspiring Elvira wannabes to dress the part and come to Knott's Scary Farm on Saturday, October 5 for a chance to strut their stuff. For one night only, Knott's will break its "no costumes" rule just for guests dressed like Elvira for this special event. The Elvira Look-A-Like Contest will take place at 9:30pm at the Charles M Schulz Theatre. One grand prize winner will receive two tickets to come back to Knott's Scary Farm again in 2013 on the night of their choice, 2 Elvira pins, a signed Elvia Stein, a signed Elvira t-shirt and a signed Elvira purse.

Please note: Valid admission to Knott's Scary Farm is required. Only Elvira costumes will be permitted. No masks or weapons permitted. Knott's reserves the right to determine whether Elvira costumes qualify for admittance/contest participation. Knott's Scary Farm is not recommended for guests under 13. Cherry 7Up Antioxidant Red Skull Can

I broke down and picked up a case of the Cherry 7Up Antioxidant Red Skull last week. Drinking the soda straight is like drinking poison but having a lot of ice cuts down the horrible taste. Now I know why the villain was on this flavor.

I broke down and bought a case of 7Up just so I can get a can with Captain America's mug. I like the fact that the shield has red rings. Of course, this is part of the Rev Up with 7UP and Captain America sweepstakes.

A&W Root Beer Howard Stark Can

I had to make a quick trip to the local grocery store since I forgot eggs yesterday at Wally World. I spotted a twelve pack of A&W Root Beer promoting the upcoming Captain America: The First Avenger movie. This is part of the Rev Up with 7UP and Captain America sweepstakes. The A&W Root Beer cans all sported Howard Stark's mug. He is the founder of Stark Industries and the father of Tony aka Iron Man. In the movie, he is portrayed by Dominic Cooper

After doing a quick search online while drinking the contents of the can, I found that 7UP is putting out a five can set. Howard Stark is on A&W Root Beer cans while Captain America is on 7UP cans. Hames "Bucky" Barnes is on Sunkist Orange cans while the Red Skull is on 7UP Cherry Antioxidant cans. Finally, Peggy Carter is on Canada Dry Ginger Ale cans

Hostess Cakes Justice League

Hostess Cakes Justice League shows The Flash Cakes and (Green Lantern) GloBalls that you can hand out for Halloween. The site also has a contest with a grand prize of a million dollars. Fifty players will win a one year subscription from DC Comics and fifty players will win a copy of the Superman/Batman: Apocalypse DVD. After October 25, you have a chance to be the hero of your own DC Comic book cover.

This brings back memories of those old Hostess comic book ads from the 1970s that had the superheroes eating Twinkies and other treats.
