Women Wednesday: Photon Funko Pop

Disney Movie Insiders had two new Funko Pops promoting The Marvels movie a few weeks ago. One was Captain Marvel for 800 points and the other was Photon for 500 points. I had enough points to get either one but not both. Since the Photon Funko Pop was for a limited time, I decided to get that one. I'm so glad that I did too because she's awesome and the photos below does not do her justice. There are six figures in this set that includes Captain Marvel, Photon, Ms. Marvel, Dar-Benn, Nick Fury and Prince Yan.

Doctor Strange Pocket Pop Keychain

I have been saving up my points at Disney Movie Insiders in hopes of getting something special for my fifty-eighth birthday, which was the day before Valentine's Day. I missed out on the unique Valentine pop exclusive since it sold out fast. A week later, I had two pocket pop keychains to choose from: Ant-Man Pocket Pop Keychain for 400 points or Doctor Strange Pocket Pop Keychain for 800 points. I had enough points for the latter but not for both. The Doctor Strange Pocket Pop Keychain arrived in today's mail. It does not stand up on its own due to the huge head and small body so I'm glad that I grabbed a shot of it from the website. I still need to watch the Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness movie. This makes my fifth Marvel-related Pocket Pop Keychain.

Thor Pocket Pop Keychain

Yes, you guess it it for today is another Thorsday (this is the last one for a while, I promise). Today's post spotlights the Thor Pocket Pop Keychain that I received from Disney Movie Rewards. I traded four hundred points for him and he is part of the Thor: Love and Thunder movie set. He has a bobble-head and is holding a battle axe. The box is three inches tall and two inches wide.

Marvel Zombies Magneto Mystery Minis Funko Pop

I picked up this Marvel Zombies Magneto Mystery Minis Funko Pop earlier this month and I'm a little disappointed. He looks great with the blank eyes (one is totally black) and scars but he doesn't stay standing up. The bottom of his cape is what supposed to hold him up but it didn't at first. I had to spread the right bottom of his cape outward to keep him upright. It took several tries since the plastic cape wanted to go back to the original position. Your experience with the Back of Marvel Zombies Magneto Mystery Minis Funko Pop may vary so be warned that he may fall over.

Marvel Zombies Hulk Mystery Minis Funko Pop

I picked up three more Marvel Zombies Mystery Minis Funko Pops on another road trip at the beginning of this month. I got them too late to post about them for this year's Halloween Countdown. One was another Marvel Zombies Black Panther, which makes three that I have now. I did get a Marvel Zombies Hulk, which is pretty cool overall. He has big open wounds on the left side of his chest and back plus one on his right arm. There is also some of his hair missing on the right side of his head. Yeah, he does look like he's going to eat you at any moment.

Countdown to Halloween 2021 Day 6: Marvel Zombies Venom Mystery Minis Funko Pop

Venom was the other Marvel Zombies Mystery Minis Funko Pop that I picked up. He stands about 2 3/4" and is about 3" wide. His long tongue hits his left knee and interferes with his bobble head action. I'm not a huge Venom fan but I will keep the horror freak up beyond Halloween also.

Countdown to Halloween 2021 Day 5: Marvel Zombies Black Panther Mystery Minis Funko Pop

Out of the three Marvel Zombies Mystery Minis Funko Pop boxes that I picked up, two of them were Black Panthers. He stands about 2 1/2" tall and is about 2 1/4" wide. At first, I thought the green stuff was slime but it's actually zombie blood. I actually like the little bobble head horror and will probably keep him up way beyond Halloween.

Countdown to Halloween 2021 Day 4: Marvel Zombies Mystery Minis Funko Pop Box

I picked up three boxes of Marvel Zombies Mystery Minis Funko Pops on a road trip a few months ago. I found them at a Walmart Super Center store and they only had a few left. These bobble heads were originally released in 2020 and I was surprised that I found them. The front of the box shows the Marvel Zombies version of Wolverine, the Hulk and Deadpool while the right side shows Phoenix, Wolverine and Gambit. The back of the box features all the figures in the set, which includes Wolverine (two versions), Venom (two versions), Deadpool, Magneto, Phoenix, the Hulk (two versions), Gambit (two versions) and Black Panther. The left side of the box features Phoenix, Wolverine and Gambit. What the box doesn't show is that there are black and white versions of Magneto and Deadpool plus glow in the dark versions of Gambit and Wolverine. Also not shown are the exclusive Marvel Zombies version of Daredevil and She-Hulk, which brings the set count to eighteen.

Countdown to Christmas 2015 Day 12: Captain America Pocket Pop Keychain

Christmas came early to me yesterday afternoon thanks to Disney Movie Rewards. They offered a Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron Captain America Pocket Pop Keychain for only 400 points. It was only available for a very limited time and I was able to snag one. He was made in Vietnam by Funko. Here is what he looks like still in the box:

Left side of Captain America Pocket Pop Keychain still in the box
Back of Captain America Pocket Pop Keychain still in the box
Right side of Captain America Pocket Pop Keychain still in the box
He is very hard to stand up on his own with the keychain ring still attached. I still had trouble standing him up on his tiny feet even without it. He stands at 1 1/2" tall and he has a really loose bobble head. Here is what he looks like out of the box and without the keychain ring:

He will be displayed in the box next to the Iron Man Pocket Pop Keychain and the Hulk Pocket Pop Keychain that I also got from Disney Movie Rewards.

Iron Man Pocket Pop Keychain

I received this Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron Iron Man Pocket Pop! Keychain from Disney Movie Rewards on Tuesday along with my Hulk Pocket Pop Keyhain. He stands about 1 1/2" tall and has bright red and gold coloring. Here is what he looks like still in the box:

Here is the right side of the box:

Here is the back of the box that states that he was made by Funko:

Here is what the Iron Man Pocket Pop Keychain looks out of the box (I actually had more trouble standing him up than I did with the Hulk):

Here is the left side of his head after he kept falling:

He looks pretty cool considering how small he is and I love the thruster effect coming out of his hands that makes it looks like he is taking off or landing.

Hulk Pocket Pop Keychain

I received my Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron Hulk Pocket Pop! Keychain from Disney Movie Rewards on Tuesday. I was surprised that I got it so fast. Here he is still in the box:
Front of Hulk Pocket Pop Keychain in box
This is the right side with the Avengers: Age of Ultron text at the top and Pocket Pop! Keychain text in the lower left corner :
Right side of Hulk Pocket Pop Keychain box
Here is the back of the box and you can see that it was made by Funko:

This is the left side that once again has the Avengers: Age of Ultron text at top but with the Avengers Initiative in the lower right corner:
Left side of Hulk Pocket Pop Keychain box
Here are some pictures of the Hulk Pocket Pop Keychain itself. I left the plastic on the keyring to help him stand up better. I didn't have much trouble standing him as I thought I would. He is a little over 1 1/2" tall. He is supposed to be a bobble head but his head does not move very much.

Here is the back of the Hulk Pocket Pop Keychain:

And here is the left side view (I didn't take a right side shot):
Left side of Hulk Pocket Pop Keychain
Yes, you can easily take off the keyring and here is what the Hulk looks like without it:

I would probably keep this in the box to display it for it would easily get knocked off and lost if I put it on a shelf.

Super Deformed Beast Boy And Robin Figures

I actually bought these Super Deformed Beast Boy and Robin figures for a dollar apiece at a local store a few years ago. They were produced by Bandai and are based on the characters from the Teen Titans animated series that started in 2003 and ended in 2005 on the Cartoon Network. I finally popped them free and put them in front of my printer but I have to remember to move them so the paper will not jam when it comes out. Anyway, both have arms that move up and down at the shoulders but Robin's arms also twist at the biceps. Their torsos can be pressed down and they pop up when you pressed the button on the front. Sound is activated from that same button but it can be turned off with another button on the bottom of each figure. Beast Boy says "I am a party animal!" and Robin says "This ends...now!" They also have bobble heads. Beast Boy is my favorite one because I have always liked the character and finding him at the local store was a big surprise.
