Marvel Avengers and Other Heroes #2 Magazine

I picked up this Marvel Avengers and Other Heroes #2 magazine at the local Dollar Tree this morning. The cover features Iron Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel and Count Dracula. Most of it is dedicated to the Marvel Avengers Secret Wars story titled "Wings in the Night!" The Avengers (Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Iron Man and Vision) battles Count Dracula as Chthon possesses his body. There are activities like mazes, match games, puzzles and how to draw. Members of the Guardians of the Galaxy only appear once on a match game page. Spider-Man and his friends also appear only once with a two-page crossword puzzle (this should have been devoted to the Avengers). Overall, the magazine is not bad for the price, but I have the feeling that I have read this story before.

Avengers: Endgame DVD

This Avengers: Endgame DVD is another one that I picked up for $4.95 at the local Dollar General last Wednesday. The cover is another one crowded with Marvel superheroes including Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Captain Marvel Hawkeye, Black Widow and Rocket Raccoon among others. I always catch the end of the movie on tv so I'm glad that I finally have the DVD so I can watch it all.

Ant-Man and the Wasp DVD

I picked up this Ant-Man and the Wasp DVD at the local Dollar General for $4.95 on Wednesday. I have seen bits and pieces of the movie on the movie channels but I always miss the beginning. Now I can watch it from start to finish.

T-shirt Thursday: White Marvel Characters T-shirt

I picked up this white Marvel Characters t-shirt at the local Walmart's last week for almost nine dollars. The artwork is not the best but it does have that hand-drawn feel. The Marvel characters include Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hawkeye, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Moon Knight (yeah, he's a little hard to see at first), Black Widow, Black Panther (I think it's him), She-Hulk, Daredevil, Silver Surfer, Thor, Doctor Strange, Human Torch, Wasp, Ant-Man, Thing, Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Cyclops (another one that's hard to make out) and Iron Fist. The pictures shows it draped over my office chair so you can only see the bottom of the Marvel logo.

Superhero Valentines At Dollar Tree

I picked up three boxes of this year's superhero Valentines at the local Dollar Tree. That proved to be a bit of a mistake on my part. First off is the Avengers Valentines, which is the same as last year's Avengers Valentines except that it has the following stickers:

This year's Batman Valentines is the exact same box and cards from last year (you can view them here.

Finally, the Spider-Man Valentines is basically the same box from 2020 (you can view it here) and the bonus of having the following stickers:

There are a few different Spider-Man Valentine cards this year along with some different text but the backs are the same. Here are this year's cards:

I'm thinking this is the last year for getting any superhero-related Valentines.

T-shirt Tuesday: New Marvel T-shirt For 2021

I actually picked up this Marvel t-shirt back in January for three dollars at the local Walmart's. Since it was such a great price, I got two of them. Superheroes from Marvel Comics that appear on the t-shirt include Daredevil, She-Hulk, Falcon, Thor, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Wasp, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man and Black Widow.

Avengers Jumbo Coloring and Activity Book: Defenders of Earth

Avengers Jumbo Coloring and Activity Book: Defenders of Earth is another one that I picked up at the local Dollar Tree. It was produced by Bendon with a copyright of 2020. There are ninety-six tear and share pages. The front cover features Black Widow, Captain America and Thor.

The back cover features Iron Man, Captain Marvel and the Hulk.

The coloring pages are either full figures or upper torso and head shots. Characters include Hawkeye, War Machine, Wasp, Ant Man, Black Panther, Vision, Falcon, Loki, Red Skull, Thanos, Doctor Strange and Winter Soldier in addition to the Avengers featured on the front and back covers. Unfortunately, there are no group shots or fighting scenes. I would recommend using coloring pencils if you color them since there some small spaces.

Activity pages are mixed in with the coloring pages. They include puzzles such as how many words, find the right one, mazes, who am I, squares and tic-tac-toe.

Stickers For Leap Day

I've been saving my quarters since Christmas for the local vending machines with stickers and temporary tattoos. Since today is leap day, I decided to try my luck at the only store in town that has them. Unfortunately, the machines with the Pocket Patches and the temporary tattoos were both jammed. Luckily, the Mystery Machine was still working and it was only a quarter while the others were fifty cents. I ended up with 13 stickers including four Marvel Avengers (#1 is Captain America, #6 is Avengers Assemble, #7 is Loki and #11 is Ant-Man that are my first ones of this set), the first Need4Speed sticker (I have others in the series), two Pocket Patches fabric tattoos (#3 and 6), Pet Shop Sticker #9 (Mousestache), Trolls #5 and the first four UglyDolls stickers.

Michael Douglas Cast As Hank Pym In Ant-Man

This could be good news: Ant-Man Casts Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Paul Rudd is Scott Lang. Hank was the first Ant-Man in the comics while Paul was the second. Eric O'Grady was the third but either he has not been cast yet or he will not appear in the movie. I do hope that Janet Van Dyne aka the Wasp will appear or will at least be mentioned.
