DC Comics released Batman #7 last week and here is the offical summary:

"As Batman is beckoned to Arkham Towers by the mysterious man in Room Ten, nothing will prepare him for who he finds there. Some might call him the Caped Crusader’s archnemesis. Others might call him Batman’s best friend. Everyone calls him the Joker."

Today is my sixty-first birthday and I would love to celebrate it with this cool Batman Forever Heart Tin of Chocolates at Amazon. Unfortunately, there are only ten pieces of candy and I won't be sharing. You'll just have to get your own and you get to keep the heart-shaped tin too.

Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 23: Batman as Ebenezer Scrooge Funko Pop

What does Batman and Scrooge have in common? They are both fictional rich men. Other than that, they are complete opposites for Bruce Wayne is known to give to charities while Ebenezer hates them until the end of his tale. You can still get this Batman as Ebenezer Scrooge Funko Pop at Amazon as a belated Christmas present for a friend or yourself.

Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 9: Hot Wheels Batman 5-Pack 2026

I also picked up this Hot Wheels Batman 5-pack 2926 last week as an early Christmas present to myself. I found it at the local Walmart's and it was the only one so I had to grab it before it was gone. The diecast vehicles include the Batmobile from the 1989 Batman movie, Gotham City Police Department SWAT Armored Truck, Killer Croc 70s Van, Catwoman Blvd Bruiser and the Batplane from tv's Batman: Animated Series. This makes my eighth Batman 5-pack.

Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 8: Hot Wheels 2026 Metalflake Gray The Batman Batmobile

I bought myself an early Christmas last week when I found this Hot Wheels 2026 Metalflake gray The Batman Batmobile at the local Dollar Tree. I was surprised that I found and had to get it since it was the only on the pegs. It's #1 of 5 in the Batman subset and #4 of 250 in the main set. The windows are smoke tinted and based on the Batmobile from The Batman (2022) movie. The back of the card has a copyright year of 2025.

Fixed A Batmobile Post From 2009

I had to fix my Found: Hot Wheels '09 #7 '66 Batmobile post from 2009 because the picture wasn't loading. I actually reshot the picture and added a close up shot.

"The Dark Knight is forced to take a different path in the tournament for the Heart of Apokolips — one that has turned Gotham into a deadly arena where Batman must battle against the Batmen of the future! Who are these Batmen? Stay tuned to find out!"

Hot Wheels 2025 Dark Red TV Series Batmobile

I was pleasantly surprised yesterday by finding this Hot Wheels 2025 Dark Red TV Series Batmobile. I picked it up for $1.25 at the local Dollar Tree. It is #3 of 5 in the mini Batman set and #103 of 250 in the main set. There is also a metalflake gray version, which I do not have yet. Some collectors don't like the various colors but I actually enjoy them.

Note: This is my 70th Batmobile post.

Hot Wheels Batman: Arkham Asylum Batmobile 2025 Black Version

I found this black version of the Hot Wheels Batman: Arkham Asylum Batmobile 2025 at the local Walmart's a few weeks ago for $1.25 (yeah, they went up from $1.18). It's #2 in the Batman subset and #54 of the main set. I almost passed it up because I thought I had it, but I got it confused with the metalflake dark gold version. I now have two of the metalflake dark gold Arkham Asylum Batmobiles because I bought another one thinking I had the black version.

Note: This makes my 70th Batmobile post.

Marvel/DC: Deadpool/Batman #1

The next generation of Marvel/DC Comics crossover is now on the newsstands. Deadpool/Batman #1 was released this past Wednesday. There are at least four different covers but I'm only showing the most common one below. Here is the official summary:

"The crossover you’ve pined for but never thought possible: DEADPOOL and BATMAN cross swords and batarangs as MARVEL and DC unite for the first time in decades! WADE WILSON has been hired for a job in GOTHAM CITY, but will the WORLD’S GREATEST DETECTIVE help him or destroy him? The main story starring Deadpool and Batman will be written by Zeb Wells and drawn by industry superstar Greg Capullo. The one-shot will also feature additional backup stories spotlighting other exciting Marvel and DC team-ups from a lineup of all-star talent, including Daredevil and GREEN ARROW by Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert, Captain America and Wonder Woman by Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson, and Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru."

Dollar Tree Superman Playing Cards Part Three

Today is the final look at the deck of Superman Playing Cards that I recently picked up at the local Dollar Tree. I was really expecting to see Lois Lane appear on at least one of the Hearts playing cards but she is not shown on any of the playing cards in this deck.

Batman appears on the Ten of Hearts playing cards while Superman and Wonder Woman share a kiss on the Queen of Hearts playing cards.

Superman battles Batman on the Seven of Spades playing card.

Superman is shown with kisses all of his face from Wonder Woman on the Queen of Spades playing cards.

Overall, this is a great deck of playing cards featuring Superman. However, I would have liked to see more of his supporting cast like Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen and Perry White. Also, a few playing cards featuring Clark Kent would have been nice too.

Aquaman guest stars on the Four of Diamonds playing card while Batman appears on the Five of Diamonds. The Trinity (Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman) appears on the Seven of Diamonds playing card. Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz) and Wonder Woman guest star on the Nine of Diamonds playing card.

Superman battles Wonder Woman on the Queen of Diamonds playing card.

Hot Wheels 2025 The Brave and the Bold Black Batmobile

I picked up this Hot Wheels 2025 The Brave and the Bold black Batmobile yesterday morning at the local Walmart's for $1.18. I have the bronze version and the dark maroon version. I like this because it has red windows and red rim black chrome wheels. It is #145 of 250 in the main set and #4 of 5 in the Batman set.

The stripes on the sides and hood are two tone salmon color.

I found this Hot Wheels 2025 Dark Blue Batman & Robin Batmobile at the local Dollar General this morning. I thought I already had it so I almost put it back. Detective Comics #1100

DC Comics released Detective Comics #1100 yesterday. The oversized issue contains four stories with the first one featuring Batman teaming up with Ace the Bat Hound. Joker and Robin appear briefly in other stories. Here's the official summary:

"In March 1937, a comic book was published that changed the world as we know it. Now, 1,099 issues later, some of comics’ top talents have gathered to celebrate the comic that birthed a legend! Tom Taylor and Mikel Janín join forces once again to tell a heartfelt and action-packed story of Batman rescuing a young boy’s best friend. Greg Rucka and Álvaro Martínez Bueno team up for a tale that asks the question: was Gotham better off before Batman? Mariko Tamaki reunites with Detective Comics collaborator Amancay Nahuelpan for a yarn that explores Bruce Wayne’s world outside of the cowl and how his double life as Batman intersects with his alter ego’s actions. Dan Watters and legendary artist Bill Sienkiewicz bring us a story that illustrates just how similar Batman’s motivations are to the criminals he has sworn to fight and how he fights against his own darkness."

Justice League: Dark Tomorrow Special

Justice League: Dark Tomorrow Special came out this week from DC Comics.

Here's the official summery: "In the wake of the We Are Yesterday crossover epic, a mysterious Quantum Quorum has emerged… stalked by a lethal enemy that takes no prisoners. The League deputizes a rag tag group of time displaced heroes like Batman Beyond, Gold Beetle, and Helena Wayne to fill the void left behind by the Time Masters and save the quorum from the mysterious threat that’s picking off time-travelers one by one. These Legends of Tomorrow are the only ones standing in the way of this cascading chronal Armageddon with the past, present, and future teetering on the brink in this oversized special leading to the next big DC All In event!"

The front cover features Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Booster Gold, Gold Beetle, the Huntress and Batman Beyond. Batman and Superman does not appear in this special and Wonder Woman only appears briefly. Mister Terrific, the Atom, Red Tornado and Supergirl also appear briefly. This issue introduces a new name and look for an existing superhero that goes by the name of Legend.

Legend, Gold Beetle, Air Wave and Amazing Man are joined by a ragtag crew of misplaced in time heroes that include Batman Beyond, Marilyn Moonlight, the Huntress and Jonah Hex. Plastic Man also shows up and joins the team.
