I picked up the only copy of Gentleman Jack: The Real Anne Lister at the local Dollar Tree for $1.50 yesterday. The book was published by Penguin Books in 2019 with a foreward by Sally Wainwright. I have only watched a few episodes of the original HBO tv series. I won't be reading it until November because tomorrow starts the Countdown to Halloween.
