Goodnight, Meat Loaf

Very sad news for Meat Loaf: Bat Out of Hell singer dead at 74. Not only was he a great singer but a great actor too. I have worn out my Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack album on cassette and vhs movie along with my Bat Out of Hell cd. I used to have almost all of his albums on cassettes but I wore most of them out to the point of breaking. There will never be another Meat Loaf and the world is a much sadder for it.

Women Wednesday: Leslie Grace As Batgirl

Thanks to Batgirl: First Look at Leslie Grace in Costume. I actually like the costume despite what everyone else is saying. Now I have a reason to get HBO MAX.

Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics Double Digest #300 is slated to be released from Archie Comics on January 18, 2022 and here's the cover:

Miniature Black Suit Superman Figurine

This miniature black suit Superman figurine is part of the Justice League 2021 Micro Collection set. He is based on the Zack Snyder's Justice League movie. which I have yet to see. Yes, he does look like he is leaning to one side.

Miniature Cyborg Figurine

This miniature Cyborg figurine is a new one for the Justice League 2021 Micro Collection set. He is based on Ray Fisher from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. To me, this version always looked more machine than Victor Stone. I still think he belongs more with the Teen Titans and I would have loved seeing any of the green heroes (Green Arrow, Green Lantern or Martian Manhunter) in the movies instead..

Miniature Armored Batman Figurine

I was at the local Dollar Tree a few days ago when I saw that they had the new Justice League figurines from Micro Collection. Three of the six are repackaged versions of the miniature Dark Batman figurine, miniature Superman figurine and miniature Wonder Woman figurine. The differences in packages are subtle with the new 2021 versions having the Micro Collection logo in the lower left hand corner and the Mattel logo in the lower right hand corner above the DC Comics logo. This miniature Armored Batman figurine looks like the version in the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. It's a nice Batman variant although I wish they had a different version of Aquaman and Wonder Woman too.

Women Wednesday: Paulina Grace Wearing Super Bikini

Let's start 2022 off with two very hot pinups of Paulina Grace wearing a super bikini. She gets my vote for a Hispanic Supergirl with tattoos.

Women Wednesday: Wonder Woman on DC vs Vampires #3 Cover

Wonder Woman is on the cover of DC vs Vampires #3 out this week. Yes, she appears to be battling Green Lantern. If you haven't picked up this limited horror series from DC Comics yet, then this would be a good time to do so especially if you can still find the first two issues.

Hot Wheels Batmobile 2020 Bats Card #5: Batman: The Animated Series

I think that this Hot Wheels Batmobile 2020 Bats Card #5: Batman: The Animated Series marks my fifty-second Batman-related vehicle. That includes cars, jets and whatever the heck that tumbler thing was. I picked it up at the local Walmart's along with the Hot Wheels Batmobile 2020 Bats Card #3: Comic Version. It's hard to tell by the picture below but it's dark maroon with red strips.

Hot Wheels Batmobile 2020 Bats Card #3: Comic Version

I'm calling this the Hot Wheels Batmobile 2020 Bats Card #3: Comic Version because it's on a mostly black card and there are bats in the upper right hand corner. The bat symbol with the yellow around it is in the center of the card. I picked this up last week along with #5, which I will post about tomorrow. I took the picture with my tablet so the lighting is not great. It appears to have neon green on the wheels while the Batmobile itself is all black. The only information about the series is that it's one of the Hot Wheels Themed Entertainment sets that includes Disney, the Muppets, Fast & Furious, Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Batman. This is the only one that I found in a bin at the local Dillons store.

Harry Potter PEZ

This is the Harry Potter PEZ dispenser that I picked up with the Hermione Granger PEZ dispenser. Like her, he is also from 2020 and is based on the book version. He also comes with raspberry, cherry and lemon flavored PEZ candy.

Harry Potter PEZ still in package

Here is a picture that I found online to show what he looks like out of the package:
