Hot Wheels TV Series Batmobile 2021 Bat Card

I picked up this Hot Wheels TV Series Batmobile at the local Walmart's last week. The copyright date on the back reads 2021 and I thought I already had it. I picked it up anyway and I am glad that I did. The reason that it looked familiar was due to the bat card. The Hot Wheels Animated Batmobile and the Hot Wheels Comic Version Batmobile from 2020 also has the flying bats on the cards. This is the first one in a set of five.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Adam Warlock Happy Meal Toy

I picked up another Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Happy Meal a few days ago. I managed to get Adam Warlock, which is the third action figure in the set. He has a big head and a lever in his back which makes his right arm rotate. Adam Warlock's lever gets stuck in the down position a lot. He has curved base so he rocks from side to side. You can also attach other action figures on each side of the base. Will Poulter plays Adam Warlock in the movie and you might remember him from We're The Millers and The Maze Runner. I'm not very familair with the character and only read a few Marvel comics that featured him.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Star-Lord Happy Meal Toy

I picked up a Happy Meal from the local McDonald's a few days ago since they are promoting Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 movie. I received Star-Lord, which is the first action figure in the series of eight. To me, he doesn't look very much like Chris Pratt but he does have a big head. There is a button on a back that you can push to make his arms go up and down. He has a blaster in his right hand and his left index finger is extended up. The base is not flat so he rocks from side to side. The base has a hook on the right side of the base and a slot on the left side so that other action figures can be hooked up to him. I'm really hoping to get Rocket Racoon or Cosmos the Spacedog the next time. Unfortunately, I did not received the correct box so either they were out of them already or they haven't received them. Hopefully, I will get the correct box the next time.

Bettie Page may be gone but she will never be forgotten. The iconic Queen of Pinups was born on this day in 1923 and she will be honored in her hometown of Nashville today with a historic marker at her former school.

Women Wednesday: Mantis on Honey Nut Cheerios Mega Box

The new General Mills cereals promoting Marvel's The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 movie is starting to trickle into the local stores. I picked up the Honey Nut Cheerios Mega box with Mantis on it at the local Walmart's about a week ago. This is a pretty big box and pretty expensive too but they didn't have any of the smaller boxes with her on it. The picture below is swiped from online since I couldn't get a good picture of the box yet. The back of the box has a group shot. I don't plan on collecting the entire set since there are way too many boxes and I don't eat as much cereal as I did when I was a kid.

Hot Wheels Batman Forever Batmobile 2023 Edition

I found this Hot Wheels Batman Forever Batmobile at the local Walmart's last week. I'm a little confused because the front of the card says "New for 2023" but the back has the copyright as 2021. This is the common black version and there is also a matte metal flake gray chase version, which I have not found. It is based on the 1995 movie Batmobile.

T-shirt Thursday: Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Theives

I actually picked up this Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Theives t-shirt at the local Walmart's. I had to finally break down and go with 2XL since it seems that they tend to shrink too much in the wash. Anyway, I have not seen the movie yet but I had to get this since I used to play Dungeons & Dragons back in the 1990s. Sure makes me wish I could get the old gang back together for a few more adventures.
