Carol Ferris Barbie

Here is the first look at the Carol Ferris Barbie doll via ‘Green Lantern’: Warner and Mattel hope to ring up major toy sales:

I take it that the Star Sapphire Barbie will be coming out when the Green Lantern sequel comes out providing that she dons the costume.

Thrift Store Finds: Monster Jam Spider-Man Truck And Speed Racer Mach 5

I found a Monster Jam Spider-Man truck made by Hot Wheels in 2001 at a local thrift store this morning for fifty cents.

I also found a Speed Racer Mach 5 from Hot Wheels for fifty cents at the same thrift store (I knew that I would find one if I waited long enough):

Women Wednesday: Future Power Girl

Captain Atom meets the future Power Girl (Kara Zor-L) when he is tossed one hundred years into the future in Justice League: Generation Lost #14 (January 2011):

He also meets the rest of the Justice League that includes Batman (Damian Wayne), Red Hood (Thomas Grayson), the Creeper (part man, part machine), Shazam (Sahar Shaheen), Blue Scarab (descendant of the Blue Beetle), Plastic Man (clone of the original), a very old Martian Manhunter and Black Canary (descendant of Hawk and Dove):

Flashpoint Action Figures Coming This Summer

DC Universe posted the first look at DC Direct Flashpoint action figures last Friday but they are so cool that I thought I would post them here. I am really digging the the alternate versions of Flash, Batman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg.

Thrift Store Find: Zachary Quinto As Spock Action Figure

I found a Zachary Quinto as Spock action figure at a local thrift store yesterday afternoon for fifty cents. He is six inches tall and came without any accessories.

The most oddest thing about him is that you can remove his shirt but not his sleeves.

Silver Streak At Superhero City

I will admit that I have not been playing Facebook's Superhero City online game everyday like I should so you could imagine my surprise when I had seen that Silver Streak was up for sale as a rare movement ability. He is the mount of the legendary Texas Ranger. Yes, the William Tell Overture is now playing in my head.

Women Wednesday: Sue Storm Backhands Namor

Yeah, I like a woman that pushes back when she has had enough. Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman backhands Namor the Sub-Mariner with a wicked left that just happens to be encased in her force field. She gave him the smack down in Marvel's Fantastic Four #587 (March 2011).

Goodnight Johnny Storm

From Fantastic Four #587 (March 2011), Ben Grimm aka the Thing and Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch sharing a Kirk Spock moment:

Goodnight Wizard And ToyFare

According to Newsarama, Wizard and ToyFare are ending. A digital magazine titled Wizard World will be available in February 2011.

Proof That Batman Cheats At The Races

The cover by Chris Burnham for Batman Inc. #6 on sale April 20, 2011 shows Batman riding his bat-cycle while Man-of-Bats rides a bison and Red Raven rides a horse. You know who is going to win this race.

Anne Hathaway Is Catwoman

According to Blastr, Anne Hathaway is Catwoman in the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. Tom Hardy will be playing Bane in the same movie.

Women Wrestling Wednesday: Delta Dawn Vs. Wonder Woman

I love Wonder Woman's mask and boots but not liking the rest of the costume:

Thanks to ShadZ for identifying the Thrift Store Find: Mystery Fantasy Figurine as Li Showron from the Cardcaptors promotion toy line that Taco Bell produced in 2002.
