I read Absolute Green Lantern from DC Comics last night. Hal Jordan is not the ring bearer this time around. He is best friends with John Stewart and Sojourner "Jo" Mullein. Jo ends up becoming Green Lantern while Hal becomes the Black Hand (he's not called that, but he does have a black hand). Abin Sur appears briefly but I'm sure we'll see more of him in future issues (he's not wounded and looks very alien-like). Guy Gardner is mentioned by his first name, but you can kind of guess that's who they are talking about. An interesting beginning and I can't wait until the next issue.

Goodnight Val Kilmer
Sad news for Val Kilmer, film star known for ‘Top Gun,’ ‘Batman Forever’ and ‘Tombstone,’ dead at 65. He passed away from pneumonia on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. In addition to the previous mention movies, he also starred in Willow, The Doors, The Saint, Tombstone and so many more.
