Hallmark Iron Man Party Cup

This Iron Man party cup from Hallmark is the last one that I recently picked up at the retail store where I work. The interior is yellow and the background is yellow. I also noticed that marvelkids.com is printed under the Marvel logo (it's also on the Hallmark Hulk party cup that I posted yesterday but is very hard to read).

Yet another Hallmark party cup that I recently picked up for eighty cents. This one has the Hulk from the comics and a green interior.

Marvel Avengers Thor Party Cup

I picked up this Marvel Avengers Thor party cup from Dynamic Drinkware for eighty cents instead of the regular dollar price. It belongs with the Black Widow party cup and the Captain America party cup. The interior is orange, which is an odd choice considering that his cape is red. There are two drawn images of Chris Hemsworth as Thor from the movie and an image of the Avengers circle A logo.

T-shirt Thursday: Gray Distressed Batman T-shirt

I actually found the last extra large gray distressed Batman t-shirt at the store where I work. The original cost was $14.99 but I got it for $10.79 after discounts. I love the large bat symbol on the front.

Women Wednesday: Black Widow Party Cup From Hallmark

I recently picked this Black Widow party cup that Hallmark put out in 2012 for eighty cents instead of the regular one dollar price. The interior is red and the bottom states that it was made in the USA. This belongs to the Avengers movie party cup set (I also have the Captain America party cup).

I never noticed the spider web on the Avengers circle A logo before but it's there along with the S.H.I.E.L.D. eagle head:

Red DC Super Friends Party Cup From Hallmark

The local discount store where I work as maintenance started their going out of business sale last week. I picked up a red DC Super Friends party cup from Hallmark on sale for eighty cents instead of the one dollar normal price. The inside of the cup is red while the background is mostly yellow and gold. The DC Super Friends features Aquaman, Hawkman, Superman, Krypto, Flash, Robin, Cyborg, Green Lantern and Batman. This is an all-male team but I would have like to have seen at least Wonder Woman included. Unfortunately, the blue DC Super Friends party cup from Hallmark was already sold out and this was the store's last red one.

Yes, I have been looking for another job since the store is set to close at the end of January 2015.

Constantine's Short Season

According to NBC Hits Brakes On "Constantine," But Season 2 Still Possible, the tv series will only have thirteen episodes for season one and "remains in contention for a second-season renewal". I urge every one to watch the show if you have not done so yet. If you enjoy horror shows like Grimm and Supernatural, then you will enjoy Constantine.

Thrift Store Finds: Imaginext Dark Knight Batman

I call this the Dark Knight Batman since he's wearing the black costume. The only thing wrong with that title is his silly grin. He's another one of those action figures that Imaginext likes to put out in different play sets. He's the last action figure in the two dollar bag that I picked up at a local thrift store a few weeks ago.

Of course, the Imaginext Dark Knight Batman didn't come with any of his accessories.

Thrift Store Finds: Imaginext Bane

I'm not sure which version this Imaginext Bane action figure is since I found him in the two dollar bag with other action figures at a local thrift store a few weeks ago. I'm not even sure how many different toy  play sets or figure packs that he came with. All I know is that he's mine now.

Thrift Store Finds: Mysterious Imaginext Action Figures

I picked up these two mysterious Imaginext action figures in the two dollar bag that I picked up a few weeks ago at a local thrift store. Any help identifying them would be appreciated.

The first one looks like he could be a pirate captain or a swashbuckler since he's wearing a fancy vest:

The second mysterious Imaginext action figure could be a samurai or a circus strongman:

Of course, none of their accessories were included in the bag.

Thrift Store Finds: Imaginext Ninja

I'm not totally sure which Imaginext Ninja action figure this is from but he has a dark blue sash belt. I picked him up in a bag of assorted action figures a few weeks ago at a local thrift store for two dollars.

Unfortunately, I didn't find any of his accessories.

Thrift Store Finds: Playskool Jar Jar Binks

This Star Wars Jedi Force Jar Jar Binks from Playskool is another action figure that was in a two dollar bag that I picked up a few weeks ago at a local thrift store. He stands at 2 3/4" with 2011 Hasbro on the bottom of one foot. I like having him mostly because I don't have a lot of alien action figures.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the Anakin Skywalker action figure that he originally came packaged with.

Thrift Store Finds: Smash Mobile Hulk

I actually found this Marvel Super Hero Adventure Smash Mobile Hulk at a local thrift store a few weeks ago in a bag of seven other action figures for two dollars. He stands at three inches and is actually wearing an orange with black safety vest over his tattered white shirt. One foot is marked 2010 Marvel Inc. while the other is marked Hasbro Made In China.

Unfortunately, I could not find the Smash Mobile that this Hulk originally came with.

According to Comics Alliance's Margot Robbie to Star as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, which is set to be released on August 5, 2016:

She just wrapped up the Tarzan reboot movie set to be released on July 1, 2016 in which she plays Jane Porter.

Vending Machine Mini Green Lantern String Puppet

The DC Comics string puppets, er dolls actually arrived at a local store's vending machine a few weeks ago but I finally had three quarters to try my luck this morning. The insert card showed Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and the Joker plus a chance to get three other mini toys that I had no interest in. I held my breath and was relieved when a mini Green Lantern string puppet, er doll came out in his plastic bubble.

He is 2 3/4" tall and 1 3/4" wide. The string colors used to make him are white, green and black. His mask, eyes and power ring are made from thin felt. His chest symbol seems to be really thick felt.

The mini Green Lantern string puppet, er doll has a black string loop on his head with a label attached. One side has copyright DCE (I presume DC Entertainment), s13, and A&A/China. The other side has the occult number of 153938/153939.

According to my research, there are eight mini string puppets, er dolls in the set that includes Superman, Batman, the Joker, Green Lantern, Robin, the Flash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman. I doubt that I will try to get any more of these since I'm once again out of quarters. They seem like they would make perfect cat toys.

Avengers Assemble Notebook Thor Edition

I had to buy a new watch today so I decided to check the school supply section at the local Walmart's. Good thing I did for I found a Marvel Avengers Assemble spiral notebook with a focus on Thor. Sure, Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk and Hawkeye are featured on the front cover but the God of Thunder appears on the front cover twice:

The eighty page wide rule spiral Avengers Assemble notebook Thor edition was put out by Innovative Designs in 2013 and made in Vietnam. I picked mine up for a $1.97. Since this is based on images from the cartoon series, I'm sure that the other superheroes each got their own editions too.

Thrift Store Find: Super Combat Captain America Action Figure

I actually found a four inch Super Combat Captain America action figure at a local thrift store for fifty cents a few weeks ago. Hasbro put him out in 2011 as the seventh figure in the First Avenger movie line. He is little worn in places and is missing his accessories.
