Marvel Studios Heroes #7 The Wasp Action Figure

The seventh action figure in the Marvel Studios Heroes toy line is the Wasp. Not only is she the only woman that I got in the McDonald's Happy Meal but she was also the last figure that I received in that set. Yep, I only got four out of the nine action figures. I will probably be looking for the others at the local thrift stores next year.

If you push the button on the back of her head, her wings move.

One final note that I haven't mentioned before. All the action figures in the Marvel Studios Heroes toy line can be connected together side by side.

Marvel Studios Heroes #5 Planted Groot Action Figure

The fifth action figure in the Marvel Studios Heroes toy line is the Planted Groot.

If you push the button on his back, then his head and arms move.

Marvel Studios Heroes #2 Winter Soldier Action Figure

The second action figure in the Marvel Studios Heroes toy line is Winter Soldier. I can't get over how big his nose looks.

If you push the button in his back, then his robotic arm moves up and down.

 

Marvel Studios Heroes #1 Falcon Action Figure

The first action figure toy from the Marvel Studios Heroes Happy Meal is Falcon.

If you press the button on the back of his head, then his wings move up and down.

Marvel Studios Heroes Happy Meal Box

I actually got a few of the Marvel Studios Heroes Happy Meals from the local McDonald's in October. The front of the box features Black Widow in her white outfit. The right panel features "The Power of Protein" so you can turn your milk into a super hero with a punch out Vision cape.

The back panel shows only a smile to put you in a happy mood. The left panel lists all the action figures available in the Marvel Studios Heroes Happy Meal and includes: Falcon, Winter Soldier, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Potted Groot, Gladiator Hulk, The Wasp, Hulkbuster and Black Widow.

I will be showing the action figure toys that I got in the next few days.

Women Wednesday: Punchline #1

First, here is the summery for Punchline #1 now on sale:

Spinning out of the pages of "The Joker War" comes the first solo book starring the blockbuster new character Punchline. As she faces the consequences for her role in "The Joker War," the story of how Alexis Kaye became Punchline will take Leslie Thompkins, Harper Row, and Cullen Row on a harrowing journey that reveals a fringe teenager's radicalization to the ideology of a madman.

I actually found myself enjoying the story and artwork more than I thought I would. My main reason for enjoying this issue had more to do with Harper Row aka Bluebird and her brother, Cullen, than that of Punchline herself. The artwork is surprisingly bright considering how dark the artwork usually is in the Batman books. I can actually read the white text on black background. Overall, I give this issue a B-.

Long Live The Legion Now At DC Universe Online

I got a new email from DC Universe Online today. They have a new episode titled Long Live the Legion. Here is their description of it:

Just received news from the Mistress of the Dark that you can now pre-order the Elvira Living Dead Doll. She stands ten inches tall and has five points of articulation. She comes in a window box and has a dagger that she can hold or store in her waist belt. Here is what she looks like:

I hope everyone voted on Election Day 2020. You can Rock The Vote with DC Comics or at least Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Beast Boy, Batgirl and Cyborg.

I am still sad after reading Actor Sean Connery, the ‘original’ James Bond, dies at 90. He passed away on Halloween 2020.
