Halloween Countdown 2010 Day 30 Bonus: Spooky Loot Kansas Lottery Ticket
Here is one of the Spooky Loot Kansas Lottery tickets but I did not match Dracula for a win (matching the broom for a hundred dollars would have been sweet):
Halloween Countdown 2010 Day 30: Edmund Dressed As Batman In Gaia Online
The shop keepers at Gaia Online are once again dressed up in costumes and handing out candy for Halloween. One of the most interesting is Edmund at H&R Wesley. He is obviously dressed up as Batman with a white pointy beard. Too bad Louie is dressed as a white suited vampire instead of Robin.
Here is me aka Jamdin in this year's costume:

Released as a limited pressing in 2009 by Target in Canada, Elvira's Heavy Metal Halloween has twelve bone crunching heavy metal versions of Halloween classics. The only appearance that the Mistress of the Dark makes is on the cover so do not expect her voice on the CD itself. The tracks include:
1. Exorcist (Main Theme)
2. Frankenstein
3. Toccata and Fugue - Bach
4. Hells Bells
5. Moonlight Sonata - Beethoven
6. Funeral March Of A Marionette - Goundd
7. Godzilla
8. Black Cat
9. Phantom Of The Opera
10. In The Hall Of The Mountain King - Grieg
11. Carmina Burana, O Fortuna - Orff
12. Halloween (Main Theme)
As an added bonus, I found a download link thanks to repo_man at Halloween Forum.
I also have a request for fellow bloggers and readers, I received an email yesterday from a reader that is looking for a digital copy of the Elvira Fright Sound Tape as found below:

Halloween Countdown 2010 Day 27: Wonder Women Celebrity Costumes
This week's special Halloween edition of Women Wednesday takes a look at celebrities dressed as Wonder Woman.
Here's Adrienne Curry, wife of The Brady Bunch's Christopher Knight and first winner of America's Next Model:
Next up is tv reality star, Kim Kardashian, who dons black leggings for a unique look:
Lorraine Kelly actually dressed up as Wonder Woman to interview Lynda Carter:
Most of us geeks and nerds are familiar with Olivia Munn from Attack of the Show:
Finally, Wendy Williams dressed up as Wonder Woman:

Halloween Countdown 2010 Day 26: Mr Bones Coffins
Fleer's Mr Bones coffins had candy pieces that you could assemble to make a skeleton. Most of the time, the candy pieces were broken or missing so you could not finish making the bony figure. A diagram on the inside lid showed how Mr Bones would look assembled. I have the orange, yellow and red versions but the candy has long since been consumed. I found them at a local convenience store years ago. Instead, I have various trinkets inside each little plastic coffin. The orange has five miniature six sided dice but only two match. The yellow has various items from vending machines: a blue spider ring, a red spider ring different from the previous one, a spiral flat metal ring and a silver werewolf head charm. The red one contains a brown derringer charm and a blue telephone charm that were also available in vending machines.
I never did find a black Mr Bones coffin:

Goodnight Mike Esposito
The comic world is mourning the passing of Mike Esposito. The cover artist/inker/penciller/writer passed away on October 24, 2010 at the age of 83. He did work for DC, Marvel and Archie including the cover of Marvel Chillers #6 (August 1975) featuring Tigra the Were-Woman that he did with William F. Buckler.

Halloween Countdown 2010 Day 25: Dark Shadows From Famous Monsters #59
Yesterday, I presented the cover of Famous Monsters of Filmland #59 (November 1969), which had a painting of Barnabas Collins on the cover. Today, I present the pictures and article about Dark Shadows from that very same issue. The inside front cover features Barnabas Collins as he would look at his actual age:
The index states that the article can be found on page forty-four:
In actuality, the seven page article starts on page forty and right after the "No Fair!" comic that I posted yesterday. Simon Laurie wrote "Who's A-Frid of the Big Bad Vampire?"
