Hawkworld and Tarzan Comics Auction Ended

Yeah, I couldn't sell them either on eBay so they are destined to be taken down to the local thrift store. I'm handing in my comic book fan card as of today. I have about a thousand comic books boxed and ready to go to the thrift store. I also separated my Superman and Batman comics into two boxes. The Superman box has over 400 comics while the Batman box has about 300.

Sad news to report for TV's Batman Adam West has died at 88. He was and will always be the one true Caped Crusader to so many fans.

Selling My Collections

After all these years, I have finally decided to sell off all my collections. This includes my comic books (mostly DC from the late 1970s to a few years ago), non-sport trading cards (mostly DC related), toys (mostly DC and Marvel), cds, cassettes and dvds. Dr Pepper Wonder Woman Cans

Yesterday, I went to the local Walmart to do some grocery shopping. I was hoping to find the Mult-Grain Cherrios Wonder Woman box but found twelve packs of Dr Pepper Wonder Woman cans instead. There are four different poses of Gal Gadot on Dr Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, Cherry Dr Pepper and Diet Cherry Dr Pepper. I got the Cherry Dr Pepper featuring her holding a sword. Someday, I'll post a picture if I can ever get my own computer again.

Green Lantern Cereal Alert

Lucky is dressed as a Green Lantern on boxes of Lucky Charms. The back of the box has a full size picture of Green Lantern and Cyborg. Inside is a free mini Justice League comic from DC Comics. I got #2 which mostly features Batman.

Batman Cereal Alert

Honey Bee is currently dressed up as Batman on boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios. There is a pinup of the actual Dark Knight on the back of the boxes. Inside are one of four different mini comics from DC (I got the Aquaman one).

DC Villains Pop-Tarts

Earlier today, I picked up a box of DC Villains Pop-Tarts at the local Walmarts. The flavor is chocolate sugar cookie so I'm not really in a rush to eat them. Lex Luthor, the Joker, Catwoman, Bane and Captain Cold adorn the box along with a few others in a line up on the back.

I wonder if DC Super Girls Pop-Tarts will be coming soon. If so, I hope they pick a good flavor for it.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween. I will be working this evening so I will not be handing out treats to the little tricksters. Hopefully, I will see some customers in costumes but I doubt it.

Countdown To Halloween 2016 Day 22: Cereal Monsters Vote 2016

You can now vote for your favorite cereal monsters at Monsters Vote 2016. Count Chocula is currently ahead, which makes sense since he is by far my favorite. Boo Berry is in second place and Franken Berry is in third place. This year the cereal monsters are back and the boxes reflect the political race. So far, Count Chocula is the only one I have picked up so far since I'm not too crazy about this year's theme.

Countdown To Halloween Day 4: My Halloween Loot Crate

Loot Crate is a great subscription box filled with exciting merchandise for geeks. There is usually a theme like Futuristic, Magic and Anti-Hero. I thought I would write a little about what I would like to see in my Halloween Loot Crate.

For starters, I would like to see something featuring Elvira in a major way. This may be a Funko Pop, an action figure, a t-shirt or a comic book. The next character I would like to see featured in a major way would be Vampirella. Other characters that I would like to see featured include Lady Death, Alice Cooper and Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid's version not Ben Cross or Johnny Depp). Any issue of the classic Famous Monsters of past or present would be cool too.
