I greatly enjoyed last night's premiere of The Shannara Chronicles on MTV. It's based more on The Elfstones of Shannara book. Wil is the weakest link on the show but that's because his mother just died and he left his home. The best characters without a doubt are the two female leads: Amberle and Eretria. Of course, seeing Allanon the druid come to life was just awesome. The special effects were cool too and I can't wait to watch future episodes.
