FOX's Human Target
Human Target is a brand new tv series coming from FOX based on the DC Comics series. According to Comics Continuum, the series will premiere on Sunday, January 10, 2010 before moving to Wednesday night. Mark Valley will star as Christopher Chance with Jackie Earle Haley as Guerrero and Chi McBride as Winston.

This is not the first time that Human Target has been a tv series. Rick Springfield played Christopher Chance in only seven episodes on ABC in 1992. Yes, I watched the first series and I am really looking forward to watching this new series.

Star Trek Beam-Me Up Badge
I like Star Trek much better than Star Wars but I cannot see the new movie on the big screen due to finances. However, I just had to get a box of Kellogg's Rice Krispies so I can obtain a Star Trek Beam-Me Up Badge. I like the cereal and I like the toy even better. The set has five badges: three Starfleet (command, engineering and science), one Klingon and one Romulan. I managed to obtain the engineering beam-me up badge that lights up when you press a button on the side.

Happy Free Comic Book Day
I will not be celebrating Free Comic Book Day for there are no local comic book stores. The weather is too stormy to take a road trip out of town. Happy hunting for all those that are able to hit their local comic book stores.

My Three Sons Comic Book
There really should have been a comic book series based on the tv series, My Three Sons. The show ran from September 29, 1960, to August 24, 1972 and starred Fred MacMurray as Steve Douglas.

Thrift Store Find: Silver Age Green Arrow Figure
I found the Green Arrow figure from the 1999 DC Super Heroes Silver Age Collection at a local thrift store this morning for only $6.50. The box appears never to have been open but there is a little wear and tear on the corners. The features includes a display stand, a bow that actually fires arrows and a cloth costume like the Mego dolls...er, action figures from the 1970s. This is a rare find for me for none of the local stores ever stocked these nine inch figures.
The back of the box has the following text:
The greatest heroes in the universe join forces to comat the world's most diabolical villains!
The Green Arrow
Real Name: Oliver Queen
Height: 5 feet 11 inches
Eyes: Green
Marital Status: Single
Weight: 178 pounds
Hair: Blond
Oliver Queen, wealthy world traveler, was on a South Seas cruise when a sudden lurch threw him overboard. Currents carried him to a deserted jungle island, and upon regaining his senses, he realized that he would have to fend for himself. Inspired by his Robinson Crusoe-like situation, Oliver began developing his own method for catching food and protecting himself: an array of trick arrows.
Soon, Oliver was catching fish and fowl whis his net arrow, drill arrow, and a number of other types of arrows. He also created a green camouflage suit of leaves. One day, Oliver spotted a freighter anchored off the island. Swimming to the ship's side, Oliver realized that the ship had been overtaken by mutineers. Oliver used his trick arrows to rescue the crew, calling himself the Green Arrow. Upon his arrival back home again, he continued to protect innocent citizens as Green Arrow.

Women Wrestling Wednesday: Ms. Marvel Vs. Mary Marvel
Pepeloco999 brings an exciting wrestling match between the Female Fury from Marvel Comics and the Maid of Might from DC Comics. I like this one because Mary Marvel is wearing her white and gold costume.
