Dollar General put out their Halloween candy back in September and I picked up a bag of Hotel Transylvania Candy Sticks since it was only a dollar. There are plenty of monsters here including vampires, werewolves, a mummy, a blob and a Frankenstein monster (the Bride is shown on the bag but none of the boxes I got had her on them). Here's the front of the bag:

Happy Labor Day Weekend

Yes, I'm still alive. Things are not great around here for my mother not only suffered a heart attack but she also fell and broke her hip. Money is tight and I haven't bought any thing comic related in a long time.

Anway, I hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day weekend. Since October is just around the corner, this is a good time to give notice that I will be partaking in this year's Countdown to Halloween. I'm not exactly sure what this year's theme will be but I'm sure I'll come up with something by then.

I picked up this Eddy's Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Twirl Ice Cream on Monday after seeing posts of the Eddy's Batman and Superman Ice Creams on Facebook. The local Walmart's didn't have any at the time and the local Dillons just had this one. There are four in the Wonder Woman series and I picked up #2.

Eddy's Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Twirl Ice Cream is caramel and vanilla light ice cream with star-shaped caramel flavored chips and a graham cracker swirl. It's pretty creamy and I like it overall.

I went back the local Dillons store yesterday and they had the Eddy's Batman Brownie Bites #3 but I didn't get it. I went back to the local Walmart's this morning and found that they had Batman, Superman (cookie dough) and Wonder Woman ice creams. I didn't pick any up because I still have half of the Eddy's Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Twirl Ice Cream. I really like the lid but the container is going to be hard to save.
