Christmas came early for comic book fans with the release of the official teaser trailer for the upcoming Supergirl movie starring Milly Alcock. Yes, Krypto is in it as is Lobo played by Jason Momoa. I can't wait to watch the movie in 2026.

Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 9: Hot Wheels Batman 5-Pack 2026
I also picked up this Hot Wheels Batman 5-pack 2926 last week as an early Christmas present to myself. I found it at the local Walmart's and it was the only one so I had to grab it before it was gone. The diecast vehicles include the Batmobile from the 1989 Batman movie, Gotham City Police Department SWAT Armored Truck, Killer Croc 70s Van, Catwoman Blvd Bruiser and the Batplane from tv's Batman: Animated Series. This makes my eighth Batman 5-pack.

Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 8: Hot Wheels 2026 Metalflake Gray The Batman Batmobile
I bought myself an early Christmas last week when I found this Hot Wheels 2026 Metalflake gray The Batman Batmobile at the local Dollar Tree. I was surprised that I found and had to get it since it was the only on the pegs. It's #1 of 5 in the Batman subset and #4 of 250 in the main set. The windows are smoke tinted and based on the Batmobile from The Batman (2022) movie. The back of the card has a copyright year of 2025.

Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 7: Teen Titans Go #10
DC Comics released Teen Titans Go #10 last week. The cover features Madame Rogue peeping in the window while members of the Teen Titans and Doom Patrol enjoy a Christmas meal. The Teen Titans include Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Robin while the Doom Patrol include Robotman, Negative Girl, Elasti-Girl and Niles Caulder aka the Chief. There is also a backup story/preview of DC's Misfits of Magic, a graphic novel, featuring Blue Devil and Zatanna that is now on sale.
Here's the official summary:
"The holidays are full of hijinks! Instead of a white Christmas, or even a blue Christmas, it’s a Rouge Christmas for the Teen Titans! As in Madame Rouge, the shape-shifting villain who wants to make it an unhappy holiday for Beast Boy and his adoptive family, the Doom Patrol."

Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 6: Archie's Christmas Spectacular #1
Archie's Christmas Spectacular #1 was released earlier this week from Archie Comics. The cover features Jughead, Archie, Veronica, Betty and Hot Dog decorating a giant Christmas tree. Here's the official summary:
"Celebrate the season Archie style, now packed with over 30 PAGES of content, including a BRAND-NEW STORY! The ultimate Christmas bash is happening at the North Pole, and SANTA’s helpers SUGARPLUM and JINGLES are competing to be the best dancers on the ice. But when they bring ARCHIE, BETTY, and VERONICA in to hype up the game, their hasty mash ups could put the entire party in peril!"

Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 3: Vampirella Helliday 2025 Special #1
This week's Women Wednesday post spotlights Vampirella Helliday 2025 Special #1 that was released last week. It's a sequel to last year's special so if you missed that then may Krampus put you in his sack. I can't decide which cover is my favorite since #1A is by Joseph Michael Linsner, #1B is by Celina and #1C features cosplayer Rachel Hollon.
Here's the official summary:
"I SAW VAMPI BITING SANTA CLAUS! In the aftermath of last year’s North Pole shenanigans, Vampirella finds herself facing off against the spirits of every major holiday that the calendar has to offer — all determined to thwart her magnanimous mission to make the winter solstice season magical once more!"

Countdown to Christmas 2025 Day 1: DC's I Saw Ma Hunkel Kissing Santa Claus
Let's start off this year's Countdown to Christmas with DC's I Saw Ma Hukel Kissing Santa Claus #1. The issue actually came out the day before Thanksgiving but I decided to post it now. The cover features Stargirl, Jay Garrick aka the Golden Age Flash and Jade watching Ma Hunkel kissing Santa Claus. There are eight stories featuring Ma Hunkel aka the Golden Age Red Tornado (some members of the Justice Society also appears briefly), Dr. Light (guest starring the Atom and a few other superheroes), the Captain (he's still Captain Marvel to me), Galaxy, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Animal Man (guest starring the Phantom Stranger) and the Martian Manhunter.
Here's the official summary:
"Ah, the holidays. A time for joy and togetherness, presents and carols… and emotions, drama, and chaos galore. Join our merry gang of heroes and villains as they navigate the highs and lows of holiday romance. Supergirl kicks off her winter vacation with a blind date! Galaxy tries (and fails) to clear her superhero-ing schedule to spend Hanukkah with her sweetheart! And so much more! Warm up your winter with this collection of heartwarming and heart-racing tales coming to shelves this holiday season!"

Happy Thanksgiving from the Justice Society of America
The Justice Society of America wishes every one a safe and happy Thanksgiving. The Golden Age heroes in this group includes the Atom, Sandman, Spectre, Flash, Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Green Lantern and Hourman. I'm guessing Ma Hunkel aka the Red Tornado cooked the turkey much to Hawkman's dismay and is now in the kitchen cleaning up.

Women Wednesday: Trinity Daughter of Wonder Woman #5
The cover of Trinity Daughter of Wonder Woman #5 looks more like it should be released around Valentine's Day instead of the day before Thanksgiving. Robin (the Jason Todd version) is on the cover along with Trinity and Super-corgi. The story actually explains the holiday mix up. Here's the official summary:
"Much to her shock, Wonder Girl finds herself back in the past with Robin, this time hoping to track down a Super-corgi. But things have changed — Jason and Lizzie are totally crushing on one another. Can the boy and girl wonders ignore the butterflies long enough to track down a mischievous dog on the dangerous streets of Gotham?"

Fixed A Batmobile Post From 2009
I had to fix my Found: Hot Wheels '09 #7 '66 Batmobile post from 2009 because the picture wasn't loading. I actually reshot the picture and added a close up shot.

Women Wednesday: Harley Quinn X Elvira #2 Covers
Harley Quinn X Elvira #2 dropped today. There are a bunch of covers but I'm only showing the first four plus the cover gallery. Here is the official summary:
"When Elvira first met Harley Quinn, the Mistress of the Dark was desperate for any plan that could help her save her beloved TV show after it was threatened with cancellation by heartless corporate raiders. Well, the Clown Princess of Crime came up with a plan, all right, and now Elvira is along for the ride — no matter how crazy Harley’s scheme turns out to be! Putting together the biggest Halloween block party ever staged is a great idea in theory, but pulling it off means raising a massive amount of money — and a pile of cash that big is sure to draw the attention of every thug and delinquent in the Tri-State area. If Harley and Elvira want to keep their party funds secure, they’re going to have to become too big to fail — and that means going international!"

Super Sunday: Superman Jumbo Coloring and Activity Book 2010
I was surprised when I found this Superman Jumbo Coloring and Activity Book at the local Dollar Tree last week. For starters, it was devoted to just Superman and not the Justice League or Batman. What really shocked me was that the copyright date is 2010. Bendon must have either reprinted this in time for the new movie or they had several boxes in storage. Most of coloring pages feature Superman, Brainiac and/or Imperiex (there's no Lois Lane or Jimmy Olsen). There are a wide variety of activity pages including puzzles, mazes, finish the pictures and whatnot. The back cover has Superman and Brainiac stand-ups that you can cut out. Not bad for $1.25.
