No Wonder Woman For NBC

Kind of a bummer that NBC dumps Wonder Woman without even airing the pilot featuring Adrianne Palicki. Hopefully, this means that someone will give the Amazon Princess a shot at the silver screen instead.

Goodnight Human Target

I am a little bummed about FOX cancels Human Target after two seasons since I really enjoyed the series with Mark Valley as Christopher Chance.

Superhero Collection At Mafia Wars

The Superhero Collection at Mafia Wars, a Facebook game, features seven comic books that can only be received from red and blue mystery bags. I have not received any yet in my collection but the characters include Arachnid-Man (Awesome Fantasy), Squirrel Man (Sleuth Comics), Superbman (Superb Comics), Freak Squad, Blue Beacon (United States Comics), General USA and Terrific Titan.

You can clearly see that Sleuth Comics and United States Comics are featured on the Blue Mystery Bag icon.

Seeing Green Versus Hammer Fall At Superhero City

Hulk Versus Thor...er, Seeing Green Versus Hammer Fall is now in round two at Superhero City:

More Green Hornet Goodies At Superhero City

I was playing Superhero City while I was on Facebook again last night and found a few more goodies including Black Beauty Barrage (Limited Time Mission), Stop Chudofsky (Limited Time Mission) and Lights Out Sucker (Free Limited Edition Ability).

Goofy The Viking Action Figure

I found this four inch tall Goofy the Viking action figure at a local thrift store years ago for fifty cents. Thanks to Google, I learned that Epcot Center released it in 1990.

Goodnight Jackie Cooper

Jackie Cooper, who played Perry White in all four Superman movies starring Christopher Reeve, died on May 3, 2011 at the age of eighty-eight.

Women Wednesday: Pirate Catwoman

Here is Shane McDermott's Pirate Catwoman taken from Superhero Cocoa: Catwomen (you can view various costumes for her at the site):

Green Hornet Invades Superhero City

The Green Hornet DVD is being released today and Superhero City at Facebook has been doing a tie-in for the past week. The special mission is the Green Hornet Sting, which allows you to watch a movie trailer.

You can send The Daily Green Hornet Cover story as a free gift:

Sidekick Swoop is the free limited edition ability featuring Kato (I would love to have the actual trading card):

Dr Pepper Thor Bottle

I bought a Dr Pepper bottle with Thor on it last Friday at an out of town convenience store while on a road trip. It pretty much looks like the Dr Pepper Thor can but without the text. I am not keeping the bottle due to storage reasons but I did manage to get the label off without too much damage.

Diet Dr Pepper Sif Can

I bought a case of Diet Dr Pepper yesterday at the local Super Wally-World and it was filled with Sif cans. The blurb reads "Sif, one of the fiercest fighters in all of Asgard! Her proficiency with a sword is unmatched." I like the Sif can much better than the Thor can since she really pops out of the white background.

Thrift Store Find: Spider-Man Shooter T-Shirt

I found a blue XL Spider-Man t-shirt at a local thrift store this morning for three dollars. I call it "shooter" since he is about to shoot his web. The label has Delta Pro Weight and assembled in El Salvador.

Firestorm, Solomon Grundy And Two-Face

Batman: The Brave And The Bold toys are back inside McDonald's Happy Meals but with a difference. Each of the package contains three toys. I managed to get my grubby hands on #2 that contained Firestorm, Solomon Grundy and Two-Face figurines. Grundy is the tallest of trio at 2 1/2" from foot to tip of left hand while the other two are 2 1/4" tall.

I like Firestorm the best because of his red legs, hair and nuclear blast is red plastic that sort of glows when held up to the light.

Solomon Grundy would make a great bodyguard:

Two-Face looks ready to flip his coin:

My camera did not capture the one side of the Happy Meal box that was devoted to Batman: The Brave And The Bold very well. Batman and Plastic Man are featured with the following text: "Follow this action-packed story! 1. On a dark, rainy night in Gotham City... 2. Bam!! There is a sudden, loud noise from The Joker's warehouse... 3. Batman & Friends rush to save the day! Finally, it was the moment of truth... Your turn! Use your Happy Meal toys and your imagination to finish this amazing adventure!"

The test in the bat-circle reads as follows: "Punch out this and use your Happy Meal box as your toys' hideout!"

Two sides of the Happy Meal box is devoted to the Zoobles while one side has a smile. The toys also come with an insert that identifies the figurines plus a mCode to help Batman solve the McWorld mystery.
