For Christmas, I received the following DVDs:
The Dark Knight,
The Best of Howdy Doody,
The Incredible Hulk and
Iron Man. For those who do not know of
Howdy Doody, he was freckle-faced boy marionette that hosted a children's television program along with the very human, Buffalo Bob Smith, from 1947 until 1960 in the United States. I was born five years too late to enjoy the show but I have always enjoyed vintage tv series. My first exposure to him was on the episode of
Happy Days when Ritchie entered a Howdy Doody lookalike contest so he can get a photo of Clarabell the Clown without his makeup. I already have a DVD that has a few episodes of
Howdy Doody on another DVD.
