Thanksgiving And Sweet Sides At Superhero City

Wow, Superhero City went all out for Thanksgiving this year. They are offering Thanksgiving as a Free Movement card:

Plus you can receive a special Sweet Sides card:

But you have to collect these three Sweet Sides Special Edition cards first:

I actually had enough Merit Points this time to get the collection.

Thanksgiving Retro Set At Superhero City

I think this may be my first Thanksgiving related post but I just had to show the Thanksgiving Retro Set at Superhero City:

Familiar Super Suit At Vampire Wars

Vampire Wars has two fabled abilities in their Sacred Halls: Freedom to Fly and Insane Strength. Both picture a familiar super suit but with a V instead of a S. I love the artwork depicting Vampireman:

Twinkies Ad Featuring Batman And The Mummy

With the news of Hostess Brands closing for good, this seems like a good time to take a look at an ad for Twinkies featuring Batman and the Mummy from The Joker #1 (May 1975):

Yes, I ate my fair share of Twinkies while growing up and they will be missed.

Women Wednesday: Sweet Dreams From Power Girl

From Worlds' Finest #6 (January 2013):

Swamp Thing At Superhero City

Superhero City pays tribute to DC's Swamp Thing twice. The first is with a new Speed of the Green card, which is now on sale:

The second tribute is a new mascot named Swampy:

Superhero City Presents Defender Of The Nation

Superhero City celebrates Veterans Day by offering a free Defender of the Nation card:

Superhero City's Homage To James Bond

Superhero City has three new special edition cards that pays homage to James Bond:

Vertigo Looses Hellblazer

Looks like Vertigo's longest-running comic Hellblazer is being canceled in February, 2013 with #300 before DC Comics launches Constantine in March with a new #1. Kind of sad really but makes sense since he is a main player in Justice League Dark.

Women Wednesday: Katana Will Be Busy In 2013

Katana will be busy in 2013 for she will be part of the new rebooted Justice League of America #1, her own solo series and will appear in the upcoming Beware The Batman animated series.

Sad Day For Players Of Vampire Wars

Vampire Wars is one of 4 Zynga Games Shutting Down. I will be saying goodbye to my vampire, Jonathan Collins, when the game shuts down for good on December 5, 2012. I will admit that I haven't played the game on a daily basis but the favor points where hard to get. I had a lot of blood but I couldn't do much with them. Here are five pictures of Jonathan Collins:
