The Marvel 2024 16-Month Calendar starts off by using the cover of King-Size Thor Annual #2 for the last four months of 2023. Naturally, my digital camera didn't want to cooperate before the batteries died. However, I did manage to get a blurry picture of it below:

The local Walmart's have their annual display of calendars out and I picked up the Marvel 2024 16-Month Calendar. The first thing that I noticed is that they did away with the shrink wrap. The front cover features Spider-Man, Moon Knight, Captain America and Hulk:
The back cover features a look of all the pages that are inside:
I think Power Girl and Wonder Woman are trying to catch up with Supergirl for how many series reboots they can get. This one hits the newsstands today and her secret identity is Dr. Paige Stetler. She also gets a costume change by wearing a jacket that covers up her boob window. Oh, Omen also appears, and Superman shows up at the end much to the surprise of no one.
Sad news for David McCallum, Heartthrob Spy of ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,’ Dies at 90. Not only did he play Illya Kuryakin on that tv series but he was also Donald "Ducky" Mallard on NCIS. One of his early movie roles was that of Judas Iscariot in The Greatest Story Ever Told.
Today marks the first day of autumn so you know what that means. Yes, it's time to start getting ready for the annual Countdown to Halloween. I'm excited about "Heir to the Kingdom": Batman & Superman Travel to the Kingdom Come Universe in Official Prequel. Catowoman #57 hits the newsstands today and the cover features her and Batman. The story is part three of the Gotham War storyline.
Today is the 72nd natal anniversary of Cassandra Peterson aka Elvira. Yesterday was the 106th natal anniversary of my Grandma Georgia and today is the 86th natal anniversary of my Aunt Karen. Happy heavenly birthday to both women. It's also the 100th birthday of country legend, Hank Williams.
I picked up these two Hot Wheels 2023 Tooned Batmobiles two days ago at the local Walmart's. I almost didn't get them because the back copyright on the card says 2021 and thought I already had them. They are both #1 in the Batman mini set and #3 in the main set. There are actually five different color variations. They are both based on the classic 1966 tv Batmobile.
The version with the blue tint windshield is actually the fifth variation. It has green pinstriping and supposedly a dark green body (it looks black to me even under a bright light).
The Hot Wheels 2023 Tooned Batmobile with the orange tint windsheld is actually the third variation (yes, it looks yellow in the photo below but that's due to the lighting). It has a black body with yellow and red pinstriping (it looks reddish-orange to me).

I picked up this Hot Wheels 2023 Dark Maroon Batmobile from the local Walmart's a few days ago. It is based on the Batmobile from the Batman: The Brave and the Bold cartoon series and the first one was released in 2010. I wasn't for sure if I had it or not since the copyright year on the back of the card reads 2021. It's #4 of the Batman subset and #137 of the main set. According to Hot Wheels Wiki, there is also a bronze version.
Note: I corrected this post after realizing that it was dark maroon and not bronze.
