Women Wrestling Wednesday: She-Hulk Vs. Lady Death

Midnight has come and gone so I thought I would find a women wrestling video featuring another horror comic character. I found Vampirella back in December and there are more matches with her but I wanted someone a little bit more paler. I stumbled upon Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk from Marvel Comics battling Lady Death from Chaos Comics. The video quality is not the greatest but Lady Death still looks hot in her sexy black lingerie. Maybe this week's edition of Women Wrestling Wednesday should be rated PG.

Dark Knight Collectible Stickers And Figurines

I took a road trip yesterday but only snagged the following four comics: The Brave and the Bold #19, 20, Justice League of America #27 and 28. These will probably be my last new comics that I will be buying unless I hit the lottery.

I did pick up two bags of the Dark Knight Collectible Stickers and Figurine. A bag of seven stickers and a Batman figurine were selling for $3.49 at Hastings. A big downside is that the thin stickers warp due to the odd-shaped figurines. The first bag had stickers #19, 35, 72, 77, 119, 123, 169 and 170 while the second bag had stickers #19, 30, 57, 72, 77, 110, 169 and 180. According to the back of the bag, the set has 6 figurines and 180 stickers (144 standard, 12 holographic foil, 12 kiss-cut and 12 PVC). The Dark Knight figurines are very nice and are three inches tall.

Here are some pictures:

Serinda Swan To Play Zatanna On Smallville

Serinda Swan will play Zatanna in the seventeenth episode of Smallville titled "Hex" this season. The twenty-four year old model is known as the face of AbsolutePoker.com and she does look great in black fishnet stockings.

Women Wrestling Wednesday: Black Canary Vs. Black Cat

The only thing that these two battling beauties have in common is that their costumed identities both have black in their names. Black Canary hangs out with Green Arrow the the DC Comics universe while Black Cat has the hots for Spider-Man in the pages of Marvel Comics. Pepeloco999 made these women wrestle with the help of Smackdown vs Raw 2008, pcsx2 0.9.5 and a hacked GSdx graphics plugin.

Fantasy Web Comic: Dark Magic And Donuts

Dark Magic and Donuts is a new black and white fantasy web comic written and illustrated by Don Higgins. The artwork and humor are both great. My favorite character so far is the dark sorceress, Vandalis, and you will know why once you see her.

Saturday Night Movie: Iron Man

I finally watched my Iron Man DVD tonight and it was great. I give it two thumbs up so see it if you have not already done so. I was very surprised at how it ended and I cannot wait until the sequel comes out.

Thrift Store Finds: Star Trek Books

I actually found a whole bunch of Star Trek books at a local thrift store this morning but I could only pick up two (I had to buy medicine yesterday and that left me real short of cash). The ones that I picked up had to do with Marvel Comics and each were fifty cents. Marvel Illustrated Books: Star Trek is from January, 1982 and has three comic stories while Star Trek The Next Generation and X-Men: Planet X is from May 1998 and is an actual novel. Here are pictures of the front and back covers:

Blog Alert: Dog Eaters

Dog Eaters is a six issue manga mini-series that was originally a screenplay written by Malcom Wong. The art is done by Guillermo A. Angel. The link does go to a blog with news about the comic book along with links to the story and characters. While I am not much of a manga reader, I do like this little blurb about Dog Eaters:

"Mankind failed in its first attempt to transcend the Petroleum Age. The Die Off killed nine out of ten people worldwide. One hundred and seventy five years later, civilization consists of scattered nomadic tribes, isolated casino-cities, and roving bands of predatory bandits.

"This is the world of the Black Dog Clan."

Manga and science fiction fans might want to check Dog Eaters out.

Static Hits The DCU

Newsarama has an exclusive preview of Terror Titans #4 in which Milestone's very own Static makes his first full appearance in the DCU. I always loved watching the Static Shock cartoon but only have a few issues of his comic book.
