Countdown to Halloween 2026 Day 30: Elvis Presley as the Wolfman Action Figure

The King of Rock and Roll howls at the full moon as the beast inside him is revealed. I asked Grok to make an action figure based on what if Elvis Presley was the Wolfman. He must have turned during a concert because he's wearing a torn jumpsuit.

Lita Ford's Dracula dropped yesterday on YouTube so we get a bonus for Women Wednesday:

Goodnight Tim Curry

Wow, we lost another legend yesterday for Tim Curry, star of 'Rocky Horror PIcture Show' and 'Clue', dead at 80. Not only will I remember him as Dr. Frank-N-Furter but also as the Lord of Darkness in Legend and the original Pennywise in It.

Fantasy Friday Bonus: Poisoned Apple Cult Song

I used Grok to create the lyrics for the Poisoned Apple Cult song by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Then I used Suno to create the song. I think it turned out pretty cool. and you can listen for yourself with the link below.

Fantasy Friday: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Heavy Metal Band

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs heavy metal band

Album Title: "Poisoned Throne"Band Name: Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs (often stylized as SNØW WHITE & THE 7 DWARVES with inverted crosses or runic symbols)Genre: Epic Symphonic Power Metal with strong Black Metal and Doom influences – think a mix of Nightwish, Cradle of Filth, and early Metallica, but with fairy-tale horror twists and massive choral elements.Release Year (fictional): 2026
Label: Grimm Records / Dark Forest Productions
Tracklist:

1. Mirror Mirror (On the Wall of Lies) – Blasting symphonic opener with frantic guitars and Snow White's operatic-to-death-scream vocals
2. Poison Apple Cult – Crushing riff monster, chugging groove with dwarf gang-shouts on the chorus
3. Glass Coffin Awakening – Doom-laden ballad that explodes into full power metal glory
4. Seven Axes of Rage – Instrumental thrash breakdown showcasing each dwarf's solo
5. Huntsman’s Betrayal – Mid-tempo epic with orchestral swells and blistering leads
6. Dwarven Forge (Into the Mine of Souls) – Heavy, grinding sludge-metal track with mining-hammer percussion
7. Evil Queen’s Lament – Atmospheric black metal interlude with haunting female choirs
8. Throne of Thorns – Anthemic closer with massive sing-along chorus and symphonic finale

Bonus Tracks (Deluxe Edition):

• "Heigh-Ho (Into Battle)" – A savage reworking of the classic song turned war anthem
• "True Love's Kiss (Is a Lie)" – Acoustic intro that turns into melodic death metal

Goodnight Ace Frehley

Sad news for Ace Frehley, Kiss’ original lead guitarist and founding member, dies at 74.

Goodnight Ozzy Osbourne

Sad news for Ozzy Osbourne dies weeks after farewell show at the age of seventy-six. I first read the news on Facebook earlier this afternoon and thought it was another hoax but it looks legit. He will be greatly missed but he will live forever in music.

Hot Wheels Premiums Pop Culture The Beatles Hiway Hauler

I had to get this Hot Wheels Premiums Pop Culture The Beatles Hiway Hauler for several reasons. Reason one is because it's a concert ticket at the Hollywood Bowl on August 29, 1965 (I was born in 1965). Reason two is because I got the Hot Wheels Yellow Submarine a few years ago. Reason three is because it's the Beatles (I have a couple of Elvis-related Johnny Lightning cars), Reason four is because it makes a great post here.

Women Wednesday: Spider-Gwen: Smash #1 and #2 Covers

I missed out on Spider-Gwen: Smash #1 last month, which is a shame for it's actually pretty good. On Earth-65, teenage Gwen Stacy is the drummer for the all-girl band known as The Mary Janes when she's not in costume as Ghost-Spider. They have been asked to go on tour with Dazzler and the Uncut Gems (yes, they do appear in this issue). Rick Jones is the guitarist for Dazzler's band and he hulks out.

Dazzler appears with Ghost-Spider aka Spider-Gwen on the cover of Spider-Gwen: Smash #2, which hits the newsstands today:
