Fantasy Friday: 1950s Women Playing Dungeons & Dragons Part 3

Here's the cover for Dungeons & Dinner #3 from Retro Comics donated by Meta Ai. The three women from the 1950s are playing Dungeons & Dragons. They have the rule books, dice, miniatures, character sheets and even a dungeon masters screen. Oh, how I would love to be playing with them tonight...oh, I mean playing the game with them tonight.

Fantasy Friday: 1950s Women Playing Dungeons & Dragons Part 2

The 1950s women are back now wearing aprons instead of sweaters while they play Dungeons & Dragons. Thanks to Meta AI, they also have a Dungeon Master's Screen and dragon figurines. The milk is still on the stove though.

Women Wednesday: 1950s Women Playing Dungeons & Dragons Part 1

A new month means new changes here at Moongem Comics. There will probably be a lot less coverage of new comic book releases. There will also probably be a lot more AI images like this one below made with Meta AI featuring three women from the 1950s playing Dungeons & Dragons. There are several dice, character sheets, a dungeon map and rulebooks on the kitchen table. The blonde's character is a level two ranger named Elyndra while the redhead's character is a level three magic user named Mlyra. That leaves the brunette as the dungeon master. I find it funny that someone put a bottle of milk on the stove.

Fantasy Friday: Babs: The Black Road South #1

Ahoy Comics released Babs: The Black Road South #1 this week. I like the two-headed dragon on the cover. Here's the official summary:

"A day of over-the-top carnage in a gladiator arena leads Babs and her partner-in-barbarism Izzy directly into a strange, unfamiliar, bizarre situation: they actually have money! That’s good, right? Wrong—because it’s about to lead them down a dark, horrific road to the devastated wasteland of Mordynn."

Science Fiction Saturday: The Herculoids #2 Cover Gallery

The Herculoids #2 from Dynamite Entertainment hit last Wednesday and it was just as great as the first issue. Here are the cover gallery pages:

The Herculoids #1 from Dynamite Entertainment came out last Wednesday. This is a reboot of the Saturday morning cartoon from Hanna-Barbera featuring Zandor, Tara, Dorno, Zok the dragon, Igoo, Tundro, Gloop and Gleep. It was great seeing them all back in action again and I can't wait to read the next issue.

Elvira and Conan at Universal Studios

The picture below is from my Elvira scrapbook and I believe I clipped it out of a local Kansas newspaper in 1985. Elvira is shown in the arms of Conan (Richard Brose). The Adventures of Conan the Barbarian: A Sword and Sorcery Spectacular ran from 1983 to 1993 at Universal Studios. I did a Google Lens search but couldn't find an exact match. Check out the cool dragon.

T-shirt Thursday: Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Theives

I actually picked up this Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Theives t-shirt at the local Walmart's. I had to finally break down and go with 2XL since it seems that they tend to shrink too much in the wash. Anyway, I have not seen the movie yet but I had to get this since I used to play Dungeons & Dragons back in the 1990s. Sure makes me wish I could get the old gang back together for a few more adventures.

This is the hottest and nerdiest thing that I have seen all day:
